lOU DIBELLA wants to postpone the fight date and have ggg fight sergey months from now. Well if ggg fights may 5th he wants to fight either canelo or bjs next. Not sergey. Sergey is not WILLING TO FIGHT MAY 5TH.

This could well be happening behind the scenes. Dibella is in a perfect position to get his way and change the course of events, especially with his legal challenges against IBF.

How do we know Dibella/Derevychenko aren't demanding 1.5 mill to fight? If they drag it out GGG loses the date. If GGG loses the date, IBF will order the madatory shot given there is more time to organize the fight.

Tough to negotiate against this when you have 3 weeks until fight night.

why on earth wouldn't he fight his mando Derevyanchenko, and remove that roadblock, so that he is free for either Canelo Saunders or Charlo in September?

Golovkin is well-aware that this bum-fight will prevent a MUCH better fight from happening in the near future..... so if he proceeds, then that is what he wanted

It's not GGG's or his team's fault that Canelo cheated.

They're trying to find someone who might be ready for May 5, of course it's going to be a limited number of boxers who can do that date without issues.

What's wrong with having a stay busy fight when the Canelo fight can be rescheduled?

Stay busy fight what are you talking about? GGG is multiple belt holder and so called king of the middle weight division. He doesn't need a charity fight.GGGs whole career has been a bunch of tune ups aside from Canelo and Jacobs. He used to say that nobody would fight him now there are worthy opponents ready to step up but now he doesn't want to fight anybody that's a threat. You can say whatever you want but Canelo is still pulling GGGs strings.
