Because their guy is already on schedule. You push the date then training has to be adjusted so that he doesn't reach his peak prior to the fight. Training isn't as simple as just running at dusk and sparring some guys every day.

Don't need one. I have a brain. He rejected 250k to fight Andrade after he was originally offered 400k. Why would he settle for short money to fight GGG on short notice? He's going to want more than the 400k he was originally offered for Andrade and he's entirely justified in doing so.

He's going to want more than the 400k he was originally offered for Andrade and he's entirely justified in doing so. But in a short notice fight there isn't a whole lot of time to promote the fight and sell tickets. And if the fight purses cost too much they need to try PPV to make a profit. Its hard enough to fill an arena for a short notice fight let alone fill an arena plus promote a ppv.

The fight needs to be profitable to happen. Hence all these bums being talked about as opponents. They are the only ones willing to take on GGG with so little preparation for chump change.
