Yeah, Derev vs GGG is a dope fight.

I would say Derev is the most technical TOP MW out there, but he's also the shorter of the crew.

Vanes is a good fight for GGG, dude is 6 ft and has top skills, well better than the Wades of the world, my concern is his inactivity.

Not a bad stay busy fight if you ask me.

If you remember that I'm sure you remember the part where they said nothing would happen and the fight wouldn't be cancelled or postponed.

How does it ruin anyone's anything if he fights an easy fight instead of sitting out, though? I would rather see Golovkin and Chocolatito in easy fights than have no card at all on Cinco-fuckin-De Mayo, dude.
It's just a fight no one cares about. It's a bs fight. Like I said give me Derevyanchenko vs Andrade if GGG doesn't want a real fight.

nah, I don't agree with that

it is clearly, a ****TY fight

            1) Golovkin has sought Munguia, Spike, and now Vanes

            2) there are MUCH better fights available, like Saunders, Andrade, and Derevyanchenko

            conclusion: Golovkin is cherry-picking like a b1tch

That's also why Chris Mannix and Kevin Iole were saying today that Golden Boy is trying to get HBO to persuade Golovkin to not fight anyone on May 5, because they don't want to compromise the fight being made for September if Golovkin gets injured or loses.

              why ?

there are DOZENS of great fights you could re-watch

and, there are plenty of other things to do

I don't get that at all

This ^. I mean, yeah, I could absolutely understand at this point if the purse is slim enough that even Spike is turning his nose up that D'chenko might well refuse, but we haven't even heard a peep out of team GGG about a possible Sergei fight. It's like the dude doesn't even exist.

I really don't think K2 would turn down Derevyanchenko, and accept Martirosyan! That would be a very, VERY BAD LOOK!

Another better than being inactive but not by much. If this is the caliber of guy we're going to have to settle for I'd prefer GGG locks in BJS in June. Let Spike take on Murray. That's a justifiable fair match up for both guys at this point in their careers.
