his mandatory who is ranked higher at 160 then any of the clowns he's trying to fight 2 of which are not even middleweights lol

His mandatory is willing to fight on short notice on GGG's date. So what is the phuking problem? Short notice = advantage GGG who's had a long full training camp.

I don't care. If he fights Derevy I'd watch and be interested. But no he doesn't have to fight him. If he chooses to fight on May 5th okay if he doesn't okay too. Given a **** situation, I'm not going to get all worked up.

More interested to see how it plays out after.

Charlo is not available, so why put his name there?
Why not Andrade? Looks like they're scared of Andrayd.
They won't even mention his name.

Essentially there is no longer any hope of securing a decent opponent for May 5th and I don't much care either way if Golovkin manages to find a third rate opponent to stay busy and possibly cover his camp costs on that date.

What I'm talking about is what happens after, and from my perspective that needs to be taking care of business... mandos and unification. Canelo may or may not make overtures when his suspension is up but TBH that fight can no longer be counted on to happen and Golovkin has already wasted far too long waiting on the Ginger. Long past time to cut his losses IMO.
Here's the thing and IMO it is the root problem with boxing. Golovkin did not lose anything financially waiting on Canelo. That is why he is likely to continue to wait for him. He may have lost something in terms of furthering his accomplishments but when it comes to money, waiting for Canelo is the best thing he did and can do. That sucks for us fans.

please show me link where derevyanchenko and dibella stated they wanted more money for the ggg fight when they clearly know its a mando

I don't need an article. I have a brain. Why would Sergei D. take the same money for GGG on short notice than he would take fighting Andrade?

Exactly. I don't see the point in all the whining. It isn't GGG's fault we missed out on a big fight on May 5th. They are just trying to make the best out of a ***** scenario.

If he's looking for an easy fight I'll take him. All he gotta do is venmo me like 200k and I'll be there.

Understood but that is also why people like you shouldn't talk about GGG losing credibility. If you only say that you don't care about the circumstances affecting his decision then you are already showing that you don't think he has any credibility.

I think Vanes whatever his name is sucks as an opponent. Sure he's got good height, reach and some skills. But he's been inactive and wasn't really setting the world on fire before that. I would prefer GGG just pushed his next fight until June when BJS would be ready for a unification fight. Or maybe he could take on one of his mandatories to get them out of the way. I would be happy with that. But at the at the same time, I am not the guy getting up every morning doing long runs in the altitude to build up my cardio. I am not the one doing hard sparring sessions. I am not the guy pay for the camp. I am not the one who has to make sure the show turns a profit. So I understand that in a short notice situation as extreme as this one someone like Vanes could be viewed by K2 promotions as a worthwhile option.

Regarding Canelo, I agree. I don't think GGG should plan his schedule based upon the idea of fighting Canelo in September. He might risk wasting more of his time. I also don't think I would work with Golden Boy for a while if I were GGG's team considering they couldn't get that Irish no-hoper of theirs to sign on the dotted line.
