Derevyanchenko earned a mandatory, you do know how boxing works right?

You guys just type shat. Here’s some advice, don’t use an excuse that works even more effectively on the Guys GGG is TRYING to fight. ....WTF had Spike O’sullivan or Jaime Munguia done to fight a guy claiming he is a top pound for pound fighter and the king of 160 on boxing biggest viewing day? GTFOH you don’t even make sense fanboy.

There is no reason for GGG to not fight this guy other then it's a tougher fight then spike. Higher risk and GGG wants a softie to keep the canelo rematch alive in sept. This is the problem when you paying all these belt orgs you have all these mandatories you have to juggle. They all made exceptions to allow for the super fight that fell through so it's only right he face his mandatory. If anyone is screwed by fighting last minute it's Derevy but if he's willing to step in hard to make a case to fight spike instead.

GGG should either fight this guy now or be stripped. If I'm GGG who cares about the IBF belt you have 2 others and a mega fight with canelo in sept. If he really cared about belts he would of fought saunders last year and he would move his date and fight saunders in june. This is about securing a big payday for Sept and not about belts.

Devevyanchenko beat Dashon Johnson, a guy that lost 29 of his last 49 fights. That should qualify for something.

Exactly! Dereyv is a tough fight, kind of gutted we never got to see him in against another top opponent of the likes of T.Johnson, but now seems like the perfect timing to get him in against GGG.

This might be a harder fight than Andrade.

You will cry whatever option he goes for, If more fighters were willing to take the hardest options most fighters would have losses in their record.
You fight what is put infront of you, Derev was willing to fight Andrade, but it was Andrade who pulled out due to not being happy with the cash offered.

Dibella makes a really strong point.

At the end, it comes down to money and the reality is that Derevyachenko will have to wait in line for a Golovkin fight.

Keep in mind that following the Canelo fight, Golovkin can then fight BJS for a unification, which supersedes mandatory fights and which once again will push back Derevyachenko. He could be looking at 18 months as Dibella said.

Nice try but the only thing true about your post true is that Dashon Johnson is who Devevyanchenko beat last.

What is important to focus on is the other Johnson. He KO’d Tureano Johnson (who was 20 and 1) to become mandatory in the IBF eliminator. Did I mention it was his 10th fight? He has only fought 11 times and is already beating guys that O’Sullivan and Jaimi would never have fought. Besides that what’s to argue they aren’t mandatories because they haven’t qualified themselves. He won the eliminator.

😂😂😂😂You guys are funny let Devevtanchenko beat GGG and you will be up on here trying to keep him out of real fights too. Must be your man crush Monday.

Please bro, who brings more money to the table Derevyanchenko or Jaimi Munguia (whatever)... this is about keeping the so called best fighter from 154 to 168 safe. Money isn’t the immediate issue safety is.
