His movement, 4 and 6 punch combinations with every punch having ko power. Had a great chin then. He was awesome to watch. 5'10 and he'd cut off the ring to guys a half foot taller. To me, he probably would've destroyed Wilder or Joshua in a few rounds back in 86-88.
I wouldn't rate prime Tyson in the top 10 best heavyweight. Have you seen the intelligence, agility and skills of the previous heavyweights?

Look at super prime Tyson vs old man Larry Holmes, that says alot about what a prime Holmes would have done to Tyson for 12 straight rounds.

But you are right, Tyson would destroy AJ and Wilder. I even give Wilder a better chance than AJ due to his wild man fighting style and stamina but doubt that will be enough.

And he isn't too far from the truth. List top 10 heavyweights in the past and list top 10 active today. By the time you get to number 3 on today's active list, you are out of quality guys.

wilder can only be improving to be fair, when hes been so bad so far.

not sure if tyson is being sardonic when he unified against a bunch of prime champs, compared to wilders "best effort is a 38 year old who wouldnt get into contention in tysons time"

hes right about AJ too, but AJ is to be fair still winning, and unifying.

Forget about Tyson, someone like Mike Weaver would have been too much for AJ and Wilder.

Oh - and Ike Ibeabuchi would have made mincemeat of both.

Wilder is 33 and he is "getting better". Tyson with 33 was old fighter, nearly retired, his prime was when he was 20 -24. How times changed.

Tyson never fought Bowe, old version Foreman neither.

                Lennox never fought Bowe, Foreman.

90`s are a little overrated, they all kept ducking each other, while Wilder and AJ are expected to fight their top opposition.

Wilder is impressive in how cowardly he's ducking Joshua!

WHAT??? He might have let some but still managed to stop the fight at what many people called a preampture time moment. Especially considering how quick AJ puffs emptying his tank and how technically good Klit was blocking each punch and not just closing in a shell as some boxers do.

That stoppage wasn't nearly as bad as most stoppages over there. I don't remember that many people complaining about it, especially in comparison to the Takam.
