Dude...you can't actually act like Hurd is on GGG's level? Hurd is basically a worse/much worse version of GGG. And again I like Lara but GGG is a bad matchup for him

Honestly I think Hurd fought a smart fight...but I think the Showtime announcers helped sway people that Hurd was doing better than he was. He was putting out a lot of volume, but Lara made him look silly at times, and a lot of what Hurd threw did not get through at all, or at least not very clean. Hurd did do some good work though and I think it was a close fight.

That being said I can see why Lara thought he was way up. In his mind he was outboxing Hurd pretty cleanly, and he was for the most part. But unfortunately he fought a young US guy in the US and Lara is not going to get the benefit of the doubt in any of his fights over here. I think Lara was pretty clearly up 4-1 and 5-2, and 10 and 11 were clear rounds for him.

But at the end of the day it was a pretty close fight and Hurd was able to get through to Lara some and make it one of those mucked up fights that's hard to score. I would like to see it again, rematch

I have no idea why so many people had this fight close. I had it 116-111 to Hurd. His activity was just too much for Lara.

I know some people are saying Lara blocked a lot of those shots but a lot was still getting through. I mean, how would you explain the damage to Lara's face? Of course a lot of those shots got through.

Good fight, which is something that can't be said for most Lara fights.

Now on to Hurd vs Charlo.

I watched it this morning with no commentary (French audio on the upload).

I didn't keep a scorecard but throught Lara won most of the rounds. The KD muddied things because I didn't keep a card....

I was rooting for Hurd, but I couldnt give him rounds where he only landed bodypunches and a partially blocked uppercut here and there over Lara, who was landing beautiful, clean power shots in every round. Even with the KD, I didn't think he'd get the decision.

I had Lara up 2 rds, and 1 point for the KD, but Lara was clearly the better fighter that lost to a LHW.

Without the knockdown it would've been a draw on my card. Lara looked like he was going to win easily at first. Turd looked off balance, he was awkwardly hopping around and slapping with his punches. Lara couldn't keep up the pace of the fight.

For Lara's credit he did back up that he was going to fight, he made me eat my words.

But when he was trying to fight at a distance, Hurd's reach was making him work to hared and he was getting caught at the end of the punches.

Why not??? Hurd already has a better resume then GGG ever did at that age.

We get it you think GGG is the best MW/P4Per of ALL time... We also get you gave GGG all 24 rounds against both Jacob's and Pednelo. Groupies like you have their heads soo far up their ass you cant even he realistic and unbiased for 1 second..

Second fight this year where I would like to see a rematch. They should put Hurd/Lara 2 and Wilder/Ortiz 2 on the same card.
