Why Not Spence vs GGG on May 5th?

Spence is a welterweight, and GGG is a Middleweight.
Spence needs to collect all the belts at WW first.
Which is why I’m starting to want to see Thurman stripped.
Because he’s holding up the whole WW scene

Spence is a big welterweight but a jump to 160 in four weeks time is too much to ask for in my opinion. Maybe in a couple years he'll grow into 154 or 160 but this would be a huge risk. Besides, there's divisions for a reason. Look at what happened to Khan and Brook.

Spence is a great welterweight but not a giant welterweight. If he was he would have moved up to 154 by now. He is a full grown man and not a growing teenager and he has no problem making 147. GGG is a great middleweight who comes to slug it out just like Spence but he is a naturally bigger man and hits harder. He would probably KO Spence and that would do Spence no good. Brook was truly a huge welterweight and he had much trouble making weight and he wanted to fight GGG. Even so GGG took vast amounts of **** from his haters for KOing a welterweight. Why would he want to get more of the same **** for KOing another welterweight? GGG is the middleweight champion and there are some good middleweights he could defend his title against like Andrade.

Lara's barking has become a bit of a Joke (and he is also little busy at the moment) and Saunders isn't actually offering to step in. This leaves Andrade, fair enough I guess but it seems like your original statement was an OVERstatement

Spence unifying at 147 is a pipe dream at the moment.
