im not talking about now with lara...but while golovkin was fighting monroes and wades etc lara was barking and loeffler never even considered him or looked his way even though he was the #1 rated guy in the division below and had headlined several cards on premium and cable tv

as others have mentioned...they offered saunders 1.5 mil and bounced to fight brook for 2.5x the money....they lowballed saunders before and called it "life changing money".....it wasnt....it was a decent payday but nothing special

I don't see why Spence's training partner Charlo doesn't get the shot.

Charlo hasn't uttered a word at all about wanting to step in and would it honestly be fair for a guy who was just partying to hit camp for four weeks for the biggest fight of his life? If he was willing I would be perfectly fine with that fight being made as well. Andrade could make sense if he's already been in camp for a targeted fight or something and he's at least verbalized willingness. Whether that verbalizing is real or not is anyone's guess.

Spence has much more to lose than gain. Even if he won (which would be difficult) on 4 week notice, there would be a thousand excuse why Golovkin lost. If he lost people would be saying he was a bum all along. Golovkin frenzied fans will declare him the best MW in history again.

Golovkin needs to find some softball opponent who has nothing to lose by losing.

Lol, Spence actually has a lot of exciting fights still at 147 so not really, I get it though Spence is a big man for 147 and he'd be a big dude at 154 as well I just don't think at this point of G's career that he should take another welterweight with a months notice.
Kell Brook made sense at the time because they had a British venue and everything set and it was pretty much Golovkin swapping a big name with a bigger name (Plus Brook asked for it ballsy or what?) because Eubank Jr for whatever reason stalled.
