Charlo hasn't uttered a word at all about wanting to step in and would it honestly be fair for a guy who was just partying to hit camp for four weeks for the biggest fight of his life? If he was willing I would be perfectly fine with that fight being made as well. Andrade could make sense if he's already been in camp for a targeted fight or something and he's at least verbalized willingness. Whether that verbalizing is real or not is anyone's guess.

Err Charlo is in camp for a fight on April 21st, but as you said, he only wrote on Twitter that he would face GGG "in due time".. which means he isnt ready to step in on May 5th.

If he wasnt already in camp i'd say its not enough time to prepare for such a fight, but him being in training, but yeah, its not #lionsonly.. Jermall seems to be a little #pussaycat

Because he's been fighting at WW. Damn, at least let the guy fight at 154 first. I would prefer as a fan for Spence to have a full camp if he were to do something like that anyway. Honestly, that's a terrible idea.

Look, Golovkin had his opponent. The fight was set, and Canelo cheating ruined everything. We can't really sit her and expect a great replacement. If anything I would prefer BJS. He's a MW. He's a champion coming off of an impressive win. I would like that fight under normal circumstances honestly. But I think I read that BJS would want a later date. And with Charlo and Jacobs with fights coming up, the best opponent for May 5 we can hope for is probably Andrade. He seems to stay in shape. He's been talking. And he may be desperate enough to get his high profile fight. I highly doubt that happens though.

It's just a bad situation honestly.
