Again he lost in your mind only. That really doesn’t mean anything officially. Golovkin is still officially undefeated. You may in your mind think that he lost but that’s not reality. Sorry.

Trip G has fought no one: Even as he collects belt after belt.

Trip G only fights dead wood: Signs, fights a legit top level fighter in Danny Jacobs on his own KO streak, puts him on canvas wins a UD.

Trip G lost that fight, it was a gift: Signs to fight Alvarez, a top 10 P4P fighter, either draws or legit wins on most observers cards, obvious crap in scoring.

Trip G has legit lost 2 in a row, he is old: Agrees to rematch with Alvarez, putting everything on the line again, Alvarez pops positive and has to pull out of fight a month before the date.

Trip G will fight a tomato can!! A push over!! It was his plan all along!!

I hope he gets Andrade in the ring. I really do. I care not a little for this Spike guy, Andrade is a better match and as good as it can get on short notice. But regardless, the posters who apparently get pleasure from despising fighters instead of going for them will say he was a small MW that was an overrated prospect at 160 if he wins, or laugh their back ends off if it is Old Spike.

Andrade is ready and willing and is ranked on 2 of the belts Golovkin currently has. It is the fight to make. But regardless, this fiasco will be Golovkin's fault somehow, and nothing fighters will do will make a difference to haters. I will criticize him too if Andrade doesn't get the fight, but I get he has a big rematch still pending with Alvarez and an easier fight on short notice may make more long term sense.

Andrade is a very good fighter though, wouldn't say no to seeing that either.
Zurdo isn’t a option he’s with Arum so he’s ESPN that isn’t happening

Demetrius Andrade is looked upon as a legit talent in near all boxing circles, so fighting him will draw, at worse, the interest of the boxing audience.

From what I can tell, you're looking at the difference between the buyrate that they got for Golovkin-Lemieux for Spike, compared to the buyrate for Golovkin-Jacobs with Andrade.

Easily 50k homes, with the gap made even more stark by the likelihood of having zero interest coming from ESPN/etc for a 200:1 fight against Gary O'Sullivan.

        GGg/Lemieux did 140-150k
        GGg/ Jacobs did 170 K

So why if you were in Gennadys team shoes you’d risk a Saunders fight or a Canelo rematch fighting Andrade who’s risky and brings
        Nothing to the table

but, Golovkin has been doing that his entire career with the ONLY exception being Canelo, who was a cashout

Andrade is not established at 160, and he is not ranked in the top 5..... we thought Golovkin could beat those guys?

GGg fought Jacobs and Canelo, the 2 best in the MW division last year

Yeah his resume isn’t that great before that but chalk it up to 2 things 1) the MW division was sh.it for a long time and 2) Any MW with some clout wasn’t willing to fight Golovkin

Come on man Canelo wasn’t a cash out, it was a huge $ fight his team has been chasing for years but Sergio, Cotto, Canelo ( for a couple years ) didn’t want it.

Andrade talent wise is top shelf and the only reason he isn’t ranked or a champ is because his team sucks. Boxing fans that know Andrade knows he has a good possibility to win but he brings nothing to the table so why pick him

                  1. Zurdo at 168 (GGG would get crazy props taking this one. a chance to get a strap at SMW and even a loss wouldn't affect his standing at 160. and Zurdo brings that Mexican appeal too.)

                  2. Derevyanchenko (what a better opportunity to satisfy your mandatory. this one will also make sense and won't get ****ted on by fans. well not by me at least.)

                  3. Andrade (this guy has left a sour taste in the mouth of fans with his big mouth and always dropping out of fights but its hard to deny the talent and skills. GGG would have to get props to take this fight.)

                  4. Chavez Jr (call him a bum and undisciplined but this guy is STILL marketable off his last name and remember the sole reason these guys fight on May 5th is to entice the Mexican fanbase. and he expressed a desire to do it. but the catchweight would have to be one where Chavez doesn't die trying to make it.)

I didn't mention Sullivan because if they make that the backlash from fans would be so severe it'll drown out the Canelo controversy. Trust me.

and guys like Charlo and Jacobs haven't really said much. they both have irrelevant fights coming up that fans don't give a damn about. but since they're so quiet theres no need to consider.

and Saunders claims to be injured so no need to discuss that either.

                    I won’t buy a Spike /GGg PPV but I’d gladly pay for a ggg/Andrade PPV

But for PPV I don’t think hardcore fans matter it’s all about casuals, hard core fans are too cheap and literally bring nothing to the table maybe 10-20k extra buys

I mean Ward / Kov a fight with 2 top 5 P4P guys did like 150k both times . Crawford / Postol the 2 best at 140 at the time did like 40k

Farces like Canelo / Chavez did a million , May/Mac did 4+. We don’t matter

Golovkin will do 100-170k fighting Andrade or Spike. It’d do the same # if Golovkins team made a fight with me

Probably because A) Team GGG were talking about ducking him even if he's a mandatory, so why waste his time calling for a fight he knows he's not getting. B) he has a fight in 2 weeks

                      Next.
sht even Chavez Jr threw his name in the mix. and that mofo is probably feasting on burgers and smoking pounds of herb right now. Charlo is in top shape. he's already in camp. he can easily put his name out there and once he opens his mouth all the fans will pressure GGG to take the biggest fight possible.

but Charlo is quiet AF. tweeting "in due time".. smh. that dude looking like a straight up hoe right now.

that confrontation with DJ made him lose his balls it seems. the lion got tamed with eye contact from Jacobs.

his fight with Centeno is a damn undercard. that night people will show up to see Broner. not Charlo. he can easily tell Centeno to kick rocks he got bigger fish to fry. he offered to drop the fight for Jacobs. so why hasn't he said that here?

we haven't seen him have one of his patented roid rage outbursts since DJ stepped to him either. he instead decided to pick a fight with 4'3" Tank Davis.

Charlo looking butter soft right now. no other way to spin it.
