Would be pretty cool if ggg and hbo were able put a real fight together still with a top notch opponent I’m not holding my breath tho. I also wonder if it’s still ppv or not prob is tho hbo doesn’t put on high caliber expensive fights on for free anymore. If they did set up good opponent it would sell enough. Got feeling they go the Chavez jr route tho unfortunately

I might be buying a GGG vs Andrade fight but I would not spent a dime on a GGG vs O Sullivan fight, and I grant there's is a lot of people who think like me.

GGG vs Andrade or GGG vs Derevyanchenko.

Any other option is a bull**** !!!
            Totally agreed.

But the reason he won’t get the fight is because he’d bring as many fans as Spike O Sullivan and is waaaayyyyy riskier

His career is DOA and nobody cares to see him fight. He hasn’t been active and hasn’t fought any decent names. No fighter with any traction is going to risk fighting him because he brings nothing to the table

Andrade needs to gets some buzz before he calls out names
Well If he picks Chavez Jr its a b*tch move, the only big name he can pick right now is Ramirez and that will involve him going to 168... fair game fight If you ask me and the traveling Mexican support who were gonna root for Nelo would definitely have no problem getting behind Ramirez who imo is the best fighter at 168.

Andrade is a very good fighter though, wouldn't say no to seeing that either.

I'm a fan but not a big fan. I'm saying for a money standpoint it's a way to make money. I would love him to fight everyone now but that's not how it works it's whoa available. Chavez on short notice isn't that bad. What you want someone with an excuse that that didn't get to train enough. At least with Chavez it's just aplug in for now.

GGG vs Andrade would be worth buying.

GGG vs Spike O'Sullivan? No thanks.

He lost 2 in a row against good opponents. Its not a coincidence.

But if Gennady fought Andrade instead of Spike how many extra buys do you think it gets? How many extra seats get sold ? I would guess zero , No one outside of hard core boxing fans know who he is

Andrade has no buzz or momentum and isn’t even a Mando , rarely fights and is on a kamikaze suicide mission to kill his career.

Add in that Andrade is a hell of a fighter one of the best at MW and probably has a good chance to win

Why the f.uck would Gennadys team pick him with a possibility of Andrade ruining a unification with Saunders or a big $ rematch with Canelo. No one in their position would do that
Fighting Spike O'Sullivan isn't going to be seen as a legitimate fight by boxing fans; folks who will pay to see Golovkin will tune in, but that's about it.

Demetrius Andrade is looked upon as a legit talent in near all boxing circles, so fighting him will draw, at worse, the interest of the boxing audience.

From what I can tell, you're looking at the difference between the buyrate that they got for Golovkin-Lemieux for Spike, compared to the buyrate for Golovkin-Jacobs with Andrade.

Easily 50k homes, with the gap made even more stark by the likelihood of having zero interest coming from ESPN/etc for a 200:1 fight against Gary O'Sullivan.
