    so.....

now that he has a ready-made excuse..... do you guys REALLY think that he will suddenly flip the script and face a top opponent?

    lol

listening to Loeffler sell the Spike fight is gonna be hilarious
You won't be offended if I cheer for you to be wrong, will you?

It won't be Saunders. I think BJS has earned to be the main attraction, not a replacement. But Andrade, Charlo (not likely, but I can hope), or Derevyanchenko are all nice replacements. Wonder if Golovkin can get Jacobs to drop Sulecki and get a rematch? He is in camp right now for April 28. Would not be much of a change and HBO would be giddy.

Yep, and he is losing his biggest payday just to fight another hopeless bum 😁

came back and had multimillion paydays

Canelo will be able to come back easier than these guys.
Mosley's case was a bit different as he never actually failed any drug tests, but testified in court that he followed a regimen prescribed for him by Victor Conte that he thought was above board, but wasn't. He provided so much evidence against himself that it was believable he really didn't know what he was doing, and no-one has ever accused him of being smart, so he kind of rolled with that one so-to-speak.

As for Margarito, he came back a shell of what he was.

This case feels a bit different from previous ones just because of Canelo's profile and the size of the fight that got cancelled as a result of the failed test.

Its not a given that Canelo will bounce back as if nothing happened - he's taking a hell of a pounding from all corners and it remains to be seen if somethings been taken out of him mentally when he gets back.

For sure he will have to go the 365 testing program to shut anyone up who continues to question, but that 'draw' vs Golovkin will always have an asterisk on now (well, two asterisks now what with Adalaide Byrd's contribution) .

So dunno, wouldn't mind at all if he came back as strong as ever under 365 testing and let his fists do the talking after that.

                    ... ^^^ something like that!...

Golovkin shouldn't trust Canelo and GBP again... he should make a settlement or sue them... then retire...
I don't doubt that, he (ggg) is a low risk-high reward fighter this is his perfect chance to grab cash

Why risk losing to Charlo or Jacobs and miss out on a Canelo pay day in September??
I still wanna see the rematch with Canelo but Canelo should definitely enroll in VADA 365 days a year if he really wants too salvage his fans, legacy, and reputation.
And he should start immediately with the testing
yeah, enrolling in the year round vada is the only way people will believe he's clean for any fight in the future. Of wilder can afford it, Canelo certainly can and he has more of a reason to do so than anyone.
