B-side Joshua couldn't even draw a fourth of Wilder-Ortiz's numbers lmao. Add up all the live showings and replay's combined and he couldn't even sniff Wilder.
Few people in America, the #1 most important market, give a rat's ass about this overhyped bodybuilder.

These numbers tie in what people have been saying about the fight needing to happen in the UK.
Over in the UK, it sells big PPV's and sells more tickets.
I know Vegas gates are higher, but I'm not sure there's enough interest there yet to generate the money.

So its a fair comparison with how many people watch wilder compared with joshua over here in the uk then yes ?
Talk sense
well, we are comparing both Showtime Main Events
Wilder vs Ortiz (Showtime) - 1.2 Million Viewers
Wilder vs Stiverne (Showtime) - 1.4 Million Viewers
Joshua vs Parker (Showtime) - 483,000 Viewers
But if you want to play the "AJ isn't American, so it proves nothing" card then here...
Kovalev vs Mikhalkin - 674,000 Viewers

This is not a lewis vs holyfield matchup so it will not draw the numbers and it will not make big money at ticket sales at the arena.
Its a great fight but the interest in boxing in america is second rate now unfortunately

Whatever, they are all dismal numbers for none PPV world title fights. Especially in a country the size of the USA.
