We are talking about an american heavyweight champion of the world and your comparing his fights to a light heavyweight from the soviet union.....its nothing to shout home about lol

I would say if you average out the tickets to £100 its about £8 million...thats 11 million dollars
Tickets ranged from £40 up to £1000 ringside..with vip tickets at £3000..but stubhub inflate the prices when you by from them.

Right lol I read that post and thought "90k tickets with a live gate of $9 million isn't that crazy lol"

At 12.5k tickets the gate is likely well north of $2 million at Barclays (depending on average tickets prices it's could be closer to $2.5 million)

Sidenote: It's crazy how much we have to pay in the US for sporting events lol

You call me a ******, yet you don't even know how to read. What you did was childishly jump in my throat, and not even have the intelligence to read and comprehend what we were saying. Hopefully I can dumb it down to your level.

You mentioned Joshua's numbers were low because he's not an American (you seem to think Americans will only watch American boxers for some reason) To which I showed you that Kovalev had quarter mil more viewers than AJ did. And then you called me ******ed.

As for providing you quotes and links to every ****** thing someone has said on here, it's not happening. The three main people who kept spewing the same idiocy were eventually put on my ignore list. Guys like kafkod I will chat with and debate with respectfully because he's not a douche, we just don't agree.

Nobody who watched the fight live watched the replay so you can say Joshua did over 840K in America without an American opponent. Not to mention the viewership from down under and in the UK.

Is that how the BBC calculates ratings?

That's just pure nationalism. Wilder has to work for his following. He doesn't have a fanbase just because he's an American.

HAHAHA. Not at all. I do prefer Joshua over Wilder.
Just the fact that Joshua has unified the WBA, WBO & IBF is pretty cool.
He cleaned up the mess Fury made.

And Wilder have been champion since January 2015 and have had 0 unification fights.

But no, Joshua should sign with HBO because he will get much better rating and exposure.
