The suspension is inevitable at this point. Hence the official complaint. Had they not filed that complaint, I'd be in the same boat as you and would be unsure if he'd end up serving an official suspension. I'm no longer on the fence about that. That's about as good as a done deal at this point.

We're not in the same boat. Official complaint or not there will be a hearing reviewing the information.

      Ca$hnelo will have good representation

Failing a drug test the day before a fight is very significant.

Failing it 10 weeks before the fight less so.

I expect the fight to continue as ordered

The only thing Canelo can do is lessen his 1 year suspension to a 6 month suspension. There's really nothing else that can be done other than that.

Hopefully he will learn from this situation though. He's a smart guy. He's just gonna have to do things the right way from here on out.

Mauricio is like an abused girlfriend that’s been betrayed and cheated on. If he had any pride he would **** his boyfriend off for good.

What you deem as significant and not so insignificant isn't what's at issue here. We as fans don't get to determine that. Fighters neither. It's all based on the commission's bylaws. Each team reviews all of the bylaws of the state they fight in before a fight is signed. You agree to abide by the rules set out by that state and therefore agree to the punishment dealt out if those rules are broken.

He is guilty of doping he needs to explain why he thinks he’s not guilty and there is no way to do that. He failed two drug tests. He put banned PEDs in his body doesn’t matter how they got there.

NSAC Changed Rule in 2016, Everyone Was Warned

Prior cases don’t matter, NSAC was not going to buy the accidental doping anymore unless the fighter otherwise shouldn’t have know.

Canelo should have known, since the other instances. Which is why no one buys the bull crap anyways.

Canelos levels were lower than that of sub-17 FIFA team and previous boxers. Those cases all concluded meat contamination.

Canelos values were likely meat contamination.

                    Case solved.

Ca$hnelo ends the European HYPE May 5th!!!

                    CANT. WAIT.
                    First, dumb as ****.

Second, the rule was changed by NSAC in 2016 to say it didn’t matter how much was in a fighter, if they reasonable should have known better, they are guilty of doping.

NSAC just concluded Canelo should have reasonably known that meat was contaminated making that excuse worthless.

And this I should why Canelo is a biiiitch and your dumb.

                    Case solved!

So he's basically saying that NSAC has the right to suspend because of the the failed tests but they can't find him guilty of doping...

As far as NSAC is concerned he failed 2 tests, whether he got it in his system because of tainted meat is between Canelo and his butcher.
