The fact that this was even released by the WBC should be investigated by someone. I don't know who, but this is a crime in itself.

Is this illegal? Some of his facts aren't even correct and he is creating a false narrative as he does not have the investigation and hearing results.
This is some seriously corrupt **** and Slimeman needs to be investigated. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of stuff he does behind the scenes when he does this in public.Comment

We know they have legit issues with food contamination, but that's no kind of excuse for Canelo's multi-million dollar ass. He doesn't have to eat like the commoners do. He lives right by Texas the source of the highest quality beef in all of North America. He could get high quality beef sent to him from there. Heck he lives on a ranch and his trainers come from a long line of butchers... Getting a grassfed non-hormone treated cow slaughtered for camp is within his ability.
The meat contamination stories have been well established for coming up on a decade now, he can't play dumb. You train in Mexico, you know the associated risks period.Last edited by Biolink; 04-03-2018, 07:48 AM.Comment

Let's put this to rest:
1. It no longer matters if it was from meat contamination. NSAC made it very clear with their "strict liability" clause they added to their bylaws in 2016.
2. It no longer matters how many nanograms of Clen he had in his system for both tests. NSAC has made it very clear that the tolerable amount of Clen is ZERO. They have a zero threshold for that in the state of Nevada.
3. The official complaint had been filed. Canelo WILL face a disciplinary hearing. The suspension is unavoidable. Canelo can't be exonerated fully.
4. The only thing that Canelo can do is lessen the length of that suspension by providing clear evidence that the contamination came from meat. The burden is on him to prove that he is innocent of not PURPOSELY taking Clen. The tests have already proven him guilty. NSAC is only concerned with "was it in your system or not?" Because of that, NSAC already has all that it needs to declare someone "guilty of doping". They don't need to know if it was done on accident or with intent in order to suspend a fighter.Comment

Far as I know, this is the first time he didn't test clean. Certainly not what happens with a purposely cheating fighter.Comment
