More Entertaining Fight- Gatti-Ward I or Corrales-Castillo I?

Blood and guts were in the air for sure. Hell of a fight!

Both great fights. Tony Weeks killed the first Corrales/Castillo fight though. Frank Cappuccino wouldn't have stopped the action after the intentional spitting out of the mouthpiece by Corrales.

Weeks bailed Corrales out.

Corrales Castillo is fought at a higher level with an insane ending so from a technical perspective, it's better.

But from an emotional perspective Gatti Ward touches the emotions more so than Corrales Castillo. That 9th round is legendary plus the friendship forged throughout the trilogy is something missing from Castillo Corrales

So It comes down to personal preference I suppose

These are my thoughts as well.

If I was told I could only watch one of those fights again I would go with Gatti-Ward.

There was more variety to the Gatti/Ward fight whereas Castillo/Corrales fought on the inside in the centre of the ring. It was the same throughout the whole fight pretty much

But Ward/Gatti was just breath taking from start to finish. The only fight that was better for me was the first Barrera/Morales fight.

Morales-Barrera 3 > Morales-Barrera 1 imo.

That third was brutal. Barrera really pulled ahead in that one. It's funny. I thought Barrera won the first one but he lost. I thought Morales won the rematch but he lost. They finally got it right the third time.

Gatti vs. Ward is probably top 20 all time fight with top 3 best round.

Corrales vs. Castillo is the greatest fight (video)recorded in human history.
