I'll take Gatti-Ward I but a slim margin. That ninth round was incredible. The tenth round of Corrales-Castillo is very close. Corrales was all but done and then out of nowhere, he came up with a miracle. I just thought Gatti-Ward I had more dramatic moments throughout, but I'll leave it up to you guys...
They damn sure were two of the best fights I’ve seen too!

But some ppl rather watch two bar fighters (not calling gatti Ward that just saying)swing away than two prize fighters perform at a higher level so each there own.
Golovkin vs Canelo was a display of great boxing skill but not the greatest fight from an entertainment stand point. Corrales Castillo was a fight where both guys demonstrated mediocre skill, just stood in the pocket the whole time and ****** away until one guy couldn't handle it anymore. Gatti Ward was far more entertaining.

So my pick is definitely Gatti Ward 1. I think a fight that doesn't get enough credit for being a great fight is Pacquiao Marquez 4.
Wow. Fight was OK? It's on a shortlist of the best fights of the last quarter century.

Marquez-Pacquaio IV is my personal favorite event in sports history and favorite memory bar none and it was a great fight but not as entertaining as Corrales-Castillo I. I actually think the best overall fight of the series was fight II but IV had the drama and better result.

I think the best fight of the last quarter century is Morales-Barrera I.

Dude corrales v Castillo was not mediocre skill.

Ok so what was gatti v Ward skill wise for you? Must have been amateur skills if you think corrales v Castillo was “mediocre” skill wise. Lol

Corrales/Castillo displayed elite level infighting just because you’re not boxing off the back foot doesn’t mean the skill level is less.

Gatti v Ward was lesser skill without a doubt Castillo/corrales operated on a much higher level that’s a fact.

Classic war between two Hall of Famers.

Doesn't seem to get mentioned as much as Gatti-Ward for some reason, which is a shame.

Castillo vs Corrales b/c those fighters were light years ahead in skills.

Barrera/Morales is as elite brutality as it gets in boxing.

Gatti/Ward is several levels skill wise below Barrera/morales.
