In another thread "Bam Bam" Rios was interviewed on Canelo testing positive clenbuterol. He had a smirk on his face and said "What if was GGG that tested positive, should the fight go on? Canelo already has the advantage because the injection (clenbuterol) is in his system."

If The Nevada Athletic Commission rules against Canelo it is a message to the fighters (all fighters) but more to the boxing promoters (especially to Golden Boy) and The WBC to keep your shenanigans out of our state!

I swear, didn't we just finish discussing this in my most recent thread? Clenelo and his team must've been living under the largest rock in the world, if they didn't see this coming. The fact that he tested positive twice only makes things that much worse for him. Either he's cheating, he got set up, or him and his team are complete dumbasses. Those are the only explanations I can think of.

People like this are why the olympics should include mental gymnastics.

An athlete's body is everything to them. When you're a multi-millionaire cash cow like Clenelo, you gotta do everything in your power to make sure you got a spotless record. For Clenelo, that meant avoiding Mexican beef, or importing beef from somewhere else, like the US. Hell, even training in a different country, for all I give a fat fuck. Matter of fact, didn't Clenelo move his training camp to Colorado or something? Why couldn't he have just held it there in the first place? Did he really know nothing about the years of tainted beef issues in Mexico? I highly doubt it.

The precedent it sets though is that clenbuterol is now a legal substance and legal PED, provided athletes buy 'tainted' beef from mexico and keep a receipt.

So I suppose mexican beef is now going to be in every athlete's diet from now on.
