This whole situation is becoming comical to me. I don't want to call AJ a coward but Eddie hearn is a total *****. If AJ beats parker I want him to come out and say he wants the Wilder fight next...otherwise it becomes obvious to me they are ducking that fight. Hearn said today in an ideal perfect world he would have Joshua win at the weekend and set up a deal for Whyte Vs wilder where the winner is guaranteed Joshua .. the only stipulation being that if wilder loses against whyte he will give him a rematch clause to win back the title before either faces Joshua..

That's not exactly a bad ****ing deal if wilder is willing for that. A payday or even two with Whyte and then a guarantee of joshua?

The reason Hearn is pushing for Wilder to fight Whyte is because (apart from Whyte being Wilder's mandatory) he watched Wilder hang on for dear life in Round 7 against Ortiz and believes Whyte has the tools to beat Wilder and set up a much bigger and more lucrative rematch in the UK between Whyte and AJ.

We can all agree that Eddie loves the big paydays and Whyte/AJ (if Whyte beats Wilder) is bigger than Wilder/AJ, so that's his thinking.

The reason Wilder is looking for a guarantee from AJ is because he (and deep down his fans do too) knows there's a very real possibility of losing to Whyte. If that happens, Wilder's market value will tank, and he'll be forced into the Wilder-ness to either rebuild or retire, with the big money payday against AJ a distant pipedream.

If Wilder fights and beats Whyte, then there should be no further delays in setting up a Wilder/AJ fight.

Bro the big money fight is not a Whyte/Joshua re-match its Wilder v AJ surely you can see that?

Wilder should fight Whyte. If he wins & AJ also beats Parker the boxing enthusiasts and supporter will pressurized for a fight between Wilder & AJ. otherwise sooner or later, WBC will order for a mandatory Whyte to fight Deontay.

you're acting as if AJ will make peanuts fighting Wilder. that's gonna be the highest paid fight for both of them. so what's the point of debating percentages? and why are AJ fans so eager to see Wilder/Whyte? be honest here Wilder gets zero credit and proves nothing beating a guy that's just a few notches better than Stiverne. and you'll most likely be the first to call him an AJ leftover once Wilder agrees to face him. so if it's understood Wilder will get zero props and will prove nothing then what is the purpose of making that fight?

delaying Wilder/AJ for 1-2 more years will just give one side an excuse to say their guy is washed up and past it. the right year to make it is 2018. their rematch should be next year, not their first fight.
