Why Wilder would fight Ortiz for peanuts and not fight Whyte for decent money is beyond me. ****** business moves tend to backfire in boxing. Think Barrera refusing Kovalev fight several times and getting KOd by Bivol. Hope Wilder doesn't follow suit...
Comparing a fight between 2 legit p4p fighters to a Wider fight is pointless, absolutely pointless. You will see more boxing skill in 1 round of a Loma or Linares fight than Wilder's last 10 fights!

When you go downstairs, the skill becomes much higher.

Wilder has got by on NOTHING more than stamina, athleticism and right hand..... he can't even dominate and outbox c level guys.... that tells me everything.

I feel ashamed he is getting by on hype, I want to see him beat very soon.... Whyte, AJ, Fury, Povetkin (no word ther on a fight, lol )..... any top guy.

Parker, Hughie Fury would embarrass him badly.... Usyk, Gassiev.... loads.

he agreed to the purse, and he agreed to fight Whyte

Saying ain't doing. He hasn't agreed to anything until he signs a contract. Wilder NEEDS AJ, Joshua does not need Wilder.

you're acting as if AJ will make peanuts fighting Wilder. that's gonna be the highest paid fight for both of them. so what's the point of debating percentages? and why are AJ fans so eager to see Wilder/Whyte? be honest here Wilder gets zero credit and proves nothing beating a guy that's just a few notches better than Stiverne. and you'll most likely be the first to call him an AJ leftover once Wilder agrees to face him. so if it's understood Wilder will get zero props and will prove nothing then what is the purpose of making that fight?

delaying Wilder/AJ for 1-2 more years will just give one side an excuse to say their guy is washed up and past it. the right year to make it is 2018. their rematch should be next year, not their first fight.

Zactly...he can wait till a purse bid against Whyte that Eddie HAS to win it to make any money. The mando angle folks keep talking about isn't a deterrent to Team Wilders plan.

Joshua is actually going for the third belt, and Ostrich legs is still fighting fat boys with *******... but in your delusional, fan boy world Windmill is trying to become undisputed champ? Well, why wasn't he fighting the other champions instead of hiding at home fighting members of Bum Squad then?

This attitude is what's hurting boxing. Fans more concerned about hype and purses than actually seeing the best fight the best.

No need for a unified champ. No need to see #1 fight #2...SMFH

Yadda yadda all day long on the same frickin tip for weeks on end, guys, they doing whatever makes business sense. Deontay earning a lot more over the two fights (maybe even three fights) , so that's what'll happen, end of debate. I wouldn't even be surprised if out of frustration he signs with Hearn.

You can thank Mayweather for that shyt. Where were you while he was running this sport into the ground with this sort of nonsense? So Haymon was all for this type of posturing and avoiding unification when it comes to Floyd but now all the sudden Wilder deserves unification bouts for even money because Haymon can't find a way to market this clown?

Wilder and Haymon are getting the Floyd treatment right now. They are the B-side, they have no leverage in negotiations. Floyd earned 30+ million and called the shots while offering his opponents 10% of what he earned. Why should Wilder get more than 10% when that is what he earns compared to Joshua?

Still don’t get this sort of deal. Whyte and AJ aren’t brothers.

Whyte will probably have to fight a final eliminator with Breazeale before he gets the mandatory with Wilder
