So really simple, go get Povetkin, which forces AJ to select a lesser opponent. Then after Povetkin, if Hearn is still posturing, Fury should be ready by then, go after Fury. If Wilder cuts Hearns legs off, either AJ fights the top fighters after Wilder already did, or he fights Wilder. I want to see good fights. Wilder vs AJ is top choice, but Wilder vs Povetikin/Fury, that's pretty good in between.
Yeah but those guys would wait for Joshua offer which will be 3x larger

I just want the fight when they are both in their prime.

As if AJ's resume is so much stronger...he's fought some of the same "bums" Wilder has!

AJ has ONE good win on his resume: Klitschko. And even that one is a little in doubt because Klitschko may already have been shot before that fight. He certainly looked shot against Fury, and he wasn't much better against undersized Bryant Jennings.

Wilder has 1 good win (maybe 1 and a half, since the first Stiverne fight was considered a legitimate test for Wilder). He's been trying to fight big fights - losing Povetkin and Ortiz fights to PEDs - and he can only fight the guys who are available to fight. And 39 KOs in 40 fights is noteworthy, no matter who he's fought.

In other words, their resumes are comparable. You can't say Wilder fought bums when AJ fought the same bums and similar opponents too.

The order will be coming soon:

          March 25, 2018:

"Dillian can box him in June or July or whenever. [Wilder] may have no choice, because if Mauricio Sulaiman orders the mandatory.... he boxed Stiverne which was an outstanding mandatory, but at some point in 2018 the WBC is going to call the mandatory," Hearn said.

Sounds to me like DiBella is trying to milk Wilder for more money before he sets up the Joshua fight.

So wishful thinking on the part of Eddie Hearn. WBC loses money if Whyte beats Wilder. Also, Wilder fought a mando in November. They aren't going to force a mando fight within a year. Especially when it hurts the mega fight potential of Wilder Joshua.

Povetkin is #4 in the WBC's HW rankings. He'll likely move to #3 after they drop Ortiz in their updated rankings.

Yea He's allowed to be in the ranking starting this month but I think he needs to reach out to the wbc before they let him fight in a wbc sanctioned fight

Joshua is still the bigger draw no matter how you slice it. I just want to see them fight and fight now before one of them gets injured or loses. Although with the bums they'd be fighting they shouldn't have to worry to much about that. They should still fight next no need to marinate v its already a huge fight. Whoever wins can set up q megafight with Tyson Fury in the beginning of 2019 and the winner of that would become a boxing icon. It makes more sense to have the fight now

Hearn said he was good with that scenario that Wilder presented. But that they all have to sit down and negotiate.

In the end it's up to the two teams, their representatives, promoters, etc...to agree and make the deal. Hopefully it will be a done deal by the end of the year or beginning of next year.
