It actually depends who it is. Some fights make more in the US, some fights make more in the UK.

But you come across as typically American with all your insecurity that the US isn't the place to have all fights.

    Grow up.

Nobody called Floyd a flop you idiot. And sure as hell his opponents didn't make as much as AJ does.

Who are these Americans that make as much or more than AJ?

I'm a huge PPV dork, I got a better read on PPV sh^t than most cats here. HW's on average do better numbers. 5 of the top 10 PPV's of all time are HW fights.

And lol at Ward vs Kovalev. Come on man. Lewis' US PPV debut sold 300k & Lewis ain't have anything like Joshua's Q score going on. And Wilder can talk which is being an underrated consideration here as well.

I mean just the 21-0 (21), assuming Joshua KO's Parker, vs 40-0 (39) records being on the poster & ads are gonna get people buying before they even see these two guys' pics that are right out of central casting for a HW title fight in a goddamn movie.

This is for sure gonna do more than 350k or w/e you said it wouldn't do. I'd bet 50% of my net worth on that sh^t (so like $22).

Vegas is an option but they're going to have to make some pretty big guarantees to have the fight there. If it doesn't make as much as they hoped, then they are the ones who will lose money.

Joshua sure isn't going to miss out on the money he should get if it flops over there.

This, this and this 100%. Once Wilder V Joshua is over, there's genuinely nothing left in terms of superfight except Tyson Fury and who knows how long he'll take?

Motor City Cobra is my man, real cool dude but I don't believe Wilder or Joshua are ducking each other and I say that as a Brit. It's not ducking, it's posturing.

Posturing in order to maximise the financial viability of the fight as you said. You know for a FACT Hearn is looking at this from the May Pac perspective. He saw that fight delayed for 5 or so years and look how much it sold. Joshua v Wilder is a Mayweather Pacquiao repeat. Imagine how much it'll make in 3 years down the line whilst both are still unbeaten.

Boxing doesn't give a **** about hardcore fans. I don't believe either is ducking each other to reiterate but I do believe this fight is going to be dragged on for years. Why? Because it worked for May Pac so why not again? People are gonna pay regardless whether it's now or in 10 years or whenever.

Dont compare with Lewis or that Era, completely different times in regards to PPV,Boxing etc.Again the promotion will rely on the words 'unbeaten heavyweights'.Their are no REAL numbers to go on that this will be at least a 500K PPV Event. The Numbers show Wilder got 1.2 Million against Ortiz on Showtime.Joshua got 600k for Klitschko in the Afternoon on Showtime and brings UK PPV.From that base around 2 Million American fans which you are working with CURRENTLY, how many will buy a $100 PPV. So it makes complete sense by Hearn and Haymon to Marinate and make the iron more hot as a saying, then strike once you feel it cannot get bigger

This is very different, Pacman and Floyd were Legitmately two of the finest boxers Boxing has ever had. From actual Boxing,Marketability, PPV Boxing was in such a healthy period then in America. Joshua and Wilder are miles away from that, Heavyweight Division is very different. If one gets knocked out it will lose it's complete spark....However yes, once AJ v Wilder gets made, the HW division will go boring again.Feeding Wilder and Joshua the likes of Whyte, Miller,Povetkin, Breazeale, Pulev maybe is the way to marinate it more and get rid of the deadbeats

Becoming a tiny Niche sport that rinses an increasingly small, dedicated fan base with 70 dollar ppv's is not a good thing. Name a fight, any fight, that would attract enough interest to even get a stadium filled with average, non-fans in a major city in America. Even Cotto when he was younger only half filled a ball park in the most Puerto Rican city in America, and Yankee Stadiums a lot smaller than Wembley.

Of course its a different era, but people love HW's. They just haven't had HW's that seemed exciting SINCE Lewis.

Again the promotion will rely on the words 'unbeaten heavyweights'.
Thats part of it. The fact they are HW's are part of it. The fact they look like mfers from a goddamn boxing movie is part of it. The UK vs US angle is part of it. There will be lots of parts of it.

Their are no REAL numbers to go on that this will be at least a 500K PPV Event.
Idefk what this is supposed to illustrate. There are no REAL numbers that said Floyd vs a MMA guy would be the #2 biggest PPV of all time, but I & many cats said that would either be the #1 or #2 PPV of all time.

The Numbers show Wilder got 1.2 Million against Ortiz on Showtime.Joshua got 600k for Klitschko in the Afternoon on Showtime and brings UK PPV.
Trying to convert TV ratings to PPV sales isn't a thing. It proves nothing. I've looked into it before.

Now the fact that Joshua does great numbers for an afternoon fight & Wilder does great numbers for Showtime does matter. And that means they got bigger followings than most other fighters. Now add in all those "parts" I discussed before & throw in there that Hearn & Showtime would push this nice & there is no damn way in the world it doesn't do more than 350k buys.

From that base around 2 Million American fans which you are working with CURRENTLY, how many will buy a $100 PPV.
Idefk what you are talking abut here.

I contend potential PPV boxing buyers break down like this, give or take.

-There are the hardcore boxing fans like many of the cats here.
-There are the casual fans who might stop in here when a big fight gets announced.
-There are the sports fans who only care about the biggest fights.
-There are the spectacle fans who only care about "event" fights

How deep you get on this list results in how many PPV's you sell. If you reach the casual fans you are probably gonna hit 300k buys. If you reach the sports fans you are probably gonna hit 1M buys, give or take. If you reach the spectacle fans you'll hit 1.5M+ buys & be among the top PPV's of all time.

Examples: Bud vs Postol I'd call a fight that didn't really reach beyond the hardcores. And obviously Conor vs Floyd would be a spectacle fight that reached to people who don't even give a f#ck about boxing.

This speculative fight with Joshua vs Wilder FOR SURE is reaching casual fans & I believe it'll get the attention of some the sports fans tier cuz sports fans love HW fights. I highly doubt it'd do 1M, but I think 500k-750k is an attainable region for them.

So it makes complete sense by Hearn and Haymon to Marinate and make the iron more hot as a saying, then strike once you feel it cannot get bigger
Well sure. Predicting a promoter is gonna marinate is like predicting a hoe is gonna suck a ****. Thats most promoters whole business model even doe its outdated & not as effective as it once was I believe with the current culture of "give it to me now", but IF THIS FIGHT DID HAPPEN NEXT its selling 350k+ PPV's without question.

Not Next, World Cup in Europe and parts of North America, lot's of sports going on during that summer time frame.Still a lot of room for growth, Joshua's American Debut BEFORE Wilder.Wilder boosting the Money in Europe by fighting in the UK to boost the money their.I'd say December 2018, Las Vegas, once the Christmas lights are out is a perfect time for this Undisputed Fight. However one word of note is i do worry about Joshua's American TV Situation, contract with Showtime is up and if he does move to HBO, i highly doubt Haymon affilated Wilder will fight over their. It could create a Co-Broadcast Conflict.
