    U.S. Flops vs U.K. Success

These were considered flops in the U.S.

14k in attendance Mayweather vs. Guerrero = $10 mil gate

12k attendance Mayweather vs. Berto = $10 mil gate

This is considered success in the UK

90k in attendance Joshua vs. Klitschko =£8 mil gate

    This wasn't even a superfight

14k in attendance Calzaghe vs. Hopkins = $11 mil gate

Everybody knows the money is in the U.S. Even Barry Hearn said it. Stop playing and fooling yourself. Cotto-Canelo generated more than those £15 PPV's over there.

Joshua vs. Wilder in Vegas is a higher gate and you can charge for PPV's here and there.

They wanna act like the UK is the place to go to make money in boxing Ain't no foreign born fighters rushing to the UK to build their careers. They all still come to America.

Who gives a **** about the gate? Joshua v Klitschko tickets could of been triple the price and would of still sold out. The fact is, Eddie and AJ care about giving the fans value for money and not pricing themselves out. Floyd on the other hand was only interested in squeezing every dollar he could out of every fan. Another pointless point.

So why did Joshua earn more against some random African than Wilder has in his entire career?

Completely and intentionally missing the point.

Oh so now the money don't matter? All this talk I been hearing about how much more money the fight will make over there.
