HBO without a doubt. There are some annoying things with Shotime. Example is, why the hell do they show commercials of their own network **** during the boxing telecast? That sorta takes you out of the whole atomsphere. ****, show them AFTER or before the boxing telecast. ****, most people that seem to pay for the channel and watch the boxing, only watch it for the boxing. Most of the shows they have suck, same with HBO, though to each his own and if you like their shows, forget this statement. Another thing that is lame, is that Behind the Ropes or whatever they call it where they show what a fighter must do to achieve victory. They do their little drawings of where a fighter must land his punch and from what angle. Who the hell remembers anything they mentioned by the time the fight actually begins? Your so wrapped up in the excitement and curiosity of what's about to happen that you don't pay attention or remember any of those things and it's just a waste of time. HBO get's right to the point after they do their little pretalk which is also very effective as a buildup. Without a doubt HBO is the king of the boxing networks and Shotime can learn abit from them. Their only thing going for them is that they usually matchup unknown fighters that turn out a great fight when you don't expect it. HBO has the fighters and usually high quality fights.
