In the last year, they produced Castillo-Corrales I, Brewster-Liakhovich, Mormeck-Bell, Garcia-Rivera. The only bout HBO has telecast that rivals any of these in excitement is Cotto-Torres, which was an undercard to a boring heavyweight fight. I'm only interested in HBO right now for Taylor-Wright.
that just about sums it up perfectly. good post.

HBO has a great summer lineup though, so if ur looking to buy one just for the summer, id say pick up HBO. But if u can get both, GET BOTH!!!

In my opinion it's HBO hands down. Showtime has it's moments(Corrales/Castillo) but I think HBO gets the bigger fights and overall puts on the better shows. Plus I can't stand Showtime's commentators, give me Lampley and Merchant anyday of the week.

It depends on what you like Quality(Better fights HBO) or Quantity(Showtime has more fights).

HBO's last candidate for fight of the year was in September of last year. Tell me again how they have better fights.

I think HBO is the better produced of the two and have the better fightersx now. 2 or 3 years ago I would have Showtime had the better fighters and more intriguing match-ups, but HBO if far better produced

HBO has the way bigger names and stuff. the only reason i have showtime is because i love corrales, and hes a showtime fighter. But now i love showtime... but they both have great fights.

The difference is, when u see a great showtime fight, ur gonna see 2 not so well known guys. When u see a great HBO fight, its going to be 2 well known fighters and a sure candidate for fight of the year!
