GBP would only sue if GGG pulled out and tried to claim money otherwise Canelo would just move on to another fight and someone else would get the payday. The money is the only thing holding GGG back from pulling out. Making excuses because it's clear as day GGG has whored himself out and doesn't have the integrity to pull out.

Unlikely the fight will be cancelled. Too much money at stake. Golovkin has every right to embarrass Canelo. He’s tarnished the sport. Canelo should be suspended but clearly he is “The Golden Boy” in boxing right now so that’s not going to happen. I wonder what the fans on this site who think it’s okay for Canelo to take PEDs would say if Golovkin tested positive.

Canelo AlvaPed
In the 1st fight, when you watch it again, Canelo hit GGG with some big shots and GGG was still coming forward. Both boxers walk away from that fight with something. Maybe, just maybe, GGG thinks he can just walk down Canelo in the rematch and be much more aggressive. And maybe, Canelo’s Team thinks they need more “juice” behind his power to not get knocked out-LOL!!!

Point is this isn't about boxing, examples of soccer players, NFL players ect all not being punished for eating in mexico and having traces of this in their system. Can't even make the case this only applies to a big supsterstar like Canelo because just a little over a year ago same thing happened with Francisco Vargas and not only was the fight not called off he wasn't punished. VADA, WADA, USADA all major test agencies currently treat these cases differently for folks from Mexico and China differently because of the meat issue in those countries.
"we maintain that disciplinary proceedings against athletes with low level urinary concentrations, from countries known for significant risk of exposure, would have little to no prospect of success; and, would be very unfair to the athletes concerned.”

Also from the link.
"All of the values were below 1ng/ml and therefore in the range of potential meat contamination cases."
http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...golovkin-fight
Canelo's results were between 0.6-0.8ng and 0.06-0.08ng. Directly posted on ESPN article the letter from VADA stating the levels canelo had in his system clearly lower. Mexico is on their list of countries where this substance is higher risk and he's within range for meat contamination. So unless WADA, VADA, USADA change their stance why would the NFL, Boxing ect not take their guidance under consideration.
As for being more responsible sure but we have to wait to hear all the details. But precedence already exists in boxing and other sports for him to not be punished. My point is it's bigger then boxing the testing agencies don't know what to do with this shyt because it's pumped in the food in a couple countries.
