You should probably watch another Hatton fight before you talk ****. Collazo was his first big fight in the U.S. as the fight wore on he became somewhat flat. If you saw hatton fight kosta tyszu you would know why he is rated as one of the best fighters in the world. Ricky hatton is one of the best in the game at gradualy waring down and it is absolutely proven when tyszu quit before the last round of a close fight and when he knocked out carlos maussa in the 9th after work to the body the entire fight

I agree, but never, ever, ever use MAUSSA the bum, as an example of Hatton's "great" work again.

ricky is a throwback - that is probably why i like him so much. he is not 'overrated', but i do believe he does not know how to fight southpaws. the most important part about fighting a southpaw is the preperation done before the fight - the countless number of days watching film, sparring, and working on your timing.

you have to train totally different versus a southpaw. a jab, cross, hook over/under does not work against a southpaw. it is countered by a right jab over the top and a right hook while pivoting left. i'm sure most of the young boxer's could tell you that.

Colozo, other than the slow start and knock down) boxed the hell out of hatton, landed more punches, cleaner punches, and just plain out boxed this kid.

And what happens, the HYPED up englishman gets the ****ing belt just so we can have a new "star" to watch. What a bunch of horse ****.

Hatton has got nothing, and he'll get worked by some premier fighters here in the states.

Sure he had energy and kept being aggressive in the bout, but he got SMASHED in the last round.

WHAT A JOKE. **** HATTON AND his nutt hugging lovers here. He lost that fight, we all know it. Colozo deserves a rematch at the least.
Lets just see you Disrespectful ****! End of the day the fans tend to have a football theme going on in England thats all, it might be a little violent, it may seem over the top. But by god do we have a good time Im not really a football fan ( love the world cup though) My point is at least 75 % of the boxing fans from England are football supporters AND WERE ALWAYS UP FOR A FIGHT IF YOUR, HARD ENOUGH Whatever hype anyone wants to give him,he'll always have time for the common man! And he knows were he came from... If you want to knock his fans.. knock them. But not my mate.

It may be this way! but its not particulary be Hatton thats played the biggest role in that hype. just the fact that has so many fans, hypes him for a start! In more ways than 1!!!! You can call him overrated all you want, but by who's standards? Whatever he does from now is a bonus (at least in my eyes)
