Well, he took the hair test. It was negative.
Now you're questioning others? And saying it's not definitive anymore?
You see why everyone here has you pegged as a moron.
The next boxer who tests positive for clenbuterol and blames contaminated meat better be willing to back it up with hair. @Canelo set a major #cleansport precedent in #boxing.

.@Canelo did what I said Lucas Browne and Francisco Vargas should have done in 2016 in this piece on hair testing. It is impressive how far #cleansport in #boxing has come over the last eight years. More needs to be done, however. https://t.co/trOMylY1Ye

Yes Gabe this Canelo hair testing result is a game-changer for boxing https://t.co/z7m6o0G4il

Hair is a scientifically valid sample type 4 clenbuterol testing in the Canelo case. Yes there are variations w/ hair color. However they measure at picogram concentrations. A picogram is equal to one trillionth of a gram. This is ultra trace analysis by a WADA accredited lab.

Canelo testing negative 4 clenbuterol in hair is very important. Seems WADA will soon establish an allowable limit for trace amounts of clenbuterol in urine & hair. No doubt. Canelo having no clenbuterol detected in a hair sample should mitigate his consequences. Game changer.

Today is a historic day in boxing. According to Golden Boy, Canelo will finally pay for random testing by VADA & even says he wants a lie detector test, which are not always reliable, but could further support his defense. The anti-doping movement in boxing made progress today.

CANELO: Hair & urine represent different time periods. The limitation w/ urine is that it ONLY reflects the recent 2 weeks. Hair represents the more historical perspective. The limitation w/ hair is that it does not reflect recent exposure. BOTH specimen types have LIMITATIONS. https://t.co/0b1uKU80gT

The hair test results for clenbuterol in the Canelo case are MORE revealing than the urine results in regards 2 possible intent to cheat. Hair results represent a longer period of time than urine results. If they had found more than 20 pg/mg of clenbuterol in his hair. BINGO!
— Victor Conte (@VictorConte) April 27, 2018
Attacking the scientific credibility of hair testing for clenbuterol because of color variations is simply an uninformed argument. Many drug tests have all kinds of variations. Urine samples can be diluted or concentrated. Asians have much lower T/E ratios compared to blacks etc.
