He went 5 months untested from last September to end of February. He could have taken a lot of ****. While Golovkin was in the 365 program and being tested.
Why aren't they offering their hair? I don't get it. That's what we need, hair testing. Right now.
Edit:
Clenbuterol can be detected in hair with more accuracy than urine. Scientific study:

In urine tests, 3 of 7 bodybuilders tested positive for Clenbuterol. In hair testing, 6 o 7 tested positive for Clenbuterol.

But he hasn't been cleared. They didnt suspend because they thought he was purposely doping. They suspended him because Clenbuterol was in his system in the 1st place. Why are people failing to realize that?
(They are so caught up in the "but you said he was doping on purpose and cheating for years" narrative. It doesn't matter what boxing fans say. It's not the fans that create these NSAC bylaws. Fans can say anything. The onus is on Canelo to make sure that Clen doesn't end up in his system in the first place. His team and his lawyers knew that)
It looks like an act of negligence, which is pretty embarrassing that all of this came down to simply negligence. I can't believe Eric Gomez who went on record might I add, saying that he didn't advise Canelo against eating certain beef. He's been in the game faaar too long. He knows better than that. Canelo as well. This aint the first time he heard of Clen. He knows better than that.
