LOL yeah of course it does. This guy gets paid to say whatever the WBC president wants him to say. And the WBC president wants his sanctioning fees. So here's another insult to the boxing world making a statement about Canelo is PROBABLY innocent without even investigating it.

When you consider that Canelo has done VADA testing many times before and never come up dirty he deserves the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I seriously doubt he was trying to intentionally cheat. That's not his style.
How do you know his style? He could have been doping for years. You don't know anything about him or what his team does behind closed doors as much as I do. And there's no proof he didn't cheat and one failed test saying he did.

Interesting. If that turns out to be correct things would look a lot better for Canelo.

Wow has anyone else yet confirmed this? Because if Canelo requested that test and it wasn't in fact random from WADA then that leads to even more evidence that this was in fact contaminated meat. Otherwise why the phuk would Canelo request the test when he didn't have to if he was taking these pills and dirty. But either way the idea that Canelo was jumping back to Mexico just for tests while secretly in the US entire time is bogus. The he couldn't of ate Mexican meat because it's a conspiracy he wasn't actually in Mexico is laughable.

Also, it's quite clear that the WBC in particular, and most press stories to a lesser degree are pushing the contaminated meat hypothesis (or the likelihood of it) very strongly. However, dodgy and slightly seedy as this may be, it doesn't actually tell us anything about Canelo's guilt or innocence one way or another. Just because the WBC (and their doctor) are proclaiming Canelo's innocence without any real evidence it does not follow that Canelo is necessarily guilty.
True, it makes the WBC look bad, but that shouldn't reflect badly on Canelo.

i agree, that was just not much reasoning from the poster...
and on the voluntary test topic, i saw Eduardo Camarena from televisa on his boxing show yesterday talking about the same and explaining how canelo asked for it just like most olympic and soccer teams do prior to starting training on international tournaments..
but even if he was on the vada random testing it will be bogus to do peds knowing you could be tested any day...
also found this from AS on spain:

you just nail it, the wbc is far from helping to canelos reputation with this behavior..

No, they just suddenly appeared out of the thin air, didn't write to him or anything.
