jesus christ, he isn't gonna split it with you
some of us care about other people than ourselves. i understand thats a concept that some people might struggle to comprehend, but we do.

fighters work crazy hard and risk their health to entertain us, the few who rise to this point deserve to make a lot of money and be set for life. especially someone like wilder who got into the game to provide for his sick daughter.

you write jesus christ, what do you think jesus christ would want? i reckon he wouldnt be much of a boxing fan, but i also reckon he wouldnt want to see fighters get ripped off.

teachers dont share their salary with me either, i still get upset that they get screwed over financially though.

I'm happy you care so much about complete strangers who likely don't care about you. It's very big of you to care so much of if he gets 50% of millions of dollars or ONLY 40% of millions of dollars. That's much more important than the actual fight

      carry on.

      • Hearn ain't dumb. He'll push Wilder into a corner by getting his other Heavyweights made mandatory (e.g Whyte).

If that happens then he'll have to fight in the U.K for a much less purse and face the risk of getting KTFO by Whyte.

I think David Haye gets back in the mix if he despatches of Bellew next month as well.

        • fans should demand the best fights not argue about how much money a fighter gets. u all should change your career to promoters if this is the case.

They need to make a new EA boxing game, but instead of career mode you just play as the promoter.

            • Joshua should get the bigger purse but Wilder is part of making it a big event. He should be compensated properly. It's like the argument people made about Pacquiao not accepting Floyd's initial "flat fee" with the notion that it was Manny's biggest payday. When all was said and done Manny ended up making more than double that. Same applies here. Joshua deserves the bigger share considering what he's done as far as sales but he and Wilder fighting will get major Commercial notoriety across the board.

                • Yes, because previous purses alone don't determine how much you'll make in your next fight. You pay him based on how much he contributes to the fight making money. If paying Wilder appropriately gets him a lot more than he has before, that doesn't mean it was undeserved.

                  • He doesn't. And if he keeps talking **** then he's not gonna get the payday, simple as that.

His belt is what makes it a big event. Its the final unification for all the belts and only one man, aj has made that happen.Wilder has never tried to unify, just stay in alabama fighting bums. If wilder was the draw he would be selling out stadiums and 100 thousands of PPVs. But he cant sell shyt on his own. Wilder needs aj, aj just needs bumsquads belt.
