It was 10 sec TOPS.After a min rest Wilder had his legs back and they do that ALL THE TIME now.He also had a few extra secs after getting up at 9 after 1st KN in 10th.He also got lucky he got dropped in 5th at END of round.He had almost a min in 7th after Wilder was hurt and he could not finish him.This is ALL about money a rematch would bring him.He said NOTHING after fight now he and more so his management have had time to come up with ANYTHING to keep his career going because he has been ducked by EVERYONE except Wilder and that will continue.I don't see Hearn letting him any where near Joshua he already signed him once to keep him away.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. What are Wilder's other options? Joshua isn't going to fight him next and all he has left are his mandatories like: Dillian Whyte and Dominic Breazeale or possibly even Alexander Povetkin but we all know that none of those fights will be as competitive as "The Real King Kong" vs "The Bronze Bomber."

He needs to go talk to the NY commission about that. Thats how they do sh^t there & Ortiz & his team shoulda known that going in & if it was a problem then don't take the fight there if you thought it could impact the fight.

I don't think it altered the outcome here so its w/e to me. But I understand Ortiz pushing this narrative since he came up short. Almost everyone does it cuz its hard to admit you were the 2nd best guy in the ring on a given night. So fair play to Ortiz here, but he's gonna have to earn a rematch so he should focus on that not the NY commission following their own rules.

I don't think a rematch would go much differently. When it comes down to it, Ortiz can push Wilder and hurt Wilder, but he just gets caught with the right too easily as the rounds go on. Unless he has some unreal way to up his stamina, I think Wilder gets him again.

It wasn't a boring fight so I wouldn't hate a rematch, but I think you avoid back to back fights with a older guy when you beat him & its arguable that Ortiz gots a more bs resume than Wilder does so idk that its doing THAT much good for him to beat him twice.

If I'm Wilder I move onto Joshua ideally, but if not then Whyte, Breazeale or Povetkin as you mention & let Ortiz prove himself vs another contender or two before I put him in my line of sight again.

Im pretty sure team Wilder seen enough of Ortiz . I will be surprised if Wilder takes any relevant fight unless its enforced on him before Joshua after that scare .

Lou Dibella didnt even want this fight ,no way we see a rematch anytime soon if again unless Wilder becomes undisputed champion which i dont see either .
