You can simply avoid red meat in Mexico.
it isnt just the red meat "Further, there have been reports of clenbuterol use to promote growth in livestock, including cattle, lamb, poultry and swine. "

so basically you will almost have to become a vegan...
i guess you can do that for a week or so, but when you live in mexico or stay there for months is really hard...
now for meats he eat at home he shouldnt have an issue, the problem is when you go to a restaurant or you visit family, etc... is almost impossible to be safe at 100% ... not saying it happens everywhere to everyone, but it could happen to anyone anywhere in mexico...

So basically what you're telling me is that its common knowledge that there is a massive contamination issue in Mexico, and in spite of the risks involved, Mr Alvarez knowingly and willingly consumed meat he knew could be contaminated?

The man, preparing for the biggest fight of his career, takes a huge chance by consuming tainted meat. He should have known better, assuming it's even valid

This is an honest and valid criticism of Canelo.

i agree that he can only blame him self cuz at the very least he is guilty for negligence... he needs a more professional team around taking care of his strength and conditioning including his nutrition.. so many years in the sport and he never had a pro trainer until months ago, and the guy he hired is semiprofessional with very little experience in boxing... with all the money he has he needs to do better than that..

                  more from heredia :
