I really hope he's not saying there should've been a stoppage there, though. A guy 6'7 standing straight up and down during that onslaught wouldn't even hit the deck, so you can say he was saved by the bell, but Ortiz knows rounds are 3 minutes and for the amount of time he had Wilder hurt in that round and as a big puncher himself, he definitely should've finished the job. But he couldn't. I also realize a lot of quotes are taken out of context on sites like this to fan the flames so to speak, so that may not have been what he was implying at all.

Why the crowd booed was beyond me this fight was always going to catch fire and did.Although Ortiz did not finish him off in the seventh he showed just how dangerous he can be and why he's so avoided.

Hearn must put forward A.J. now and stop making excuses about money Wilder is a serious threat and they know it.My money is on Wilder to be the last man standing, although for many things I hope A.J. proves me wrong.

He got a little help from judges but except that credit is deserved.

Yeah those judges cards were suspect as ***??? Wilder should not of been up on them. Just glad Ortiz was TKO'd instead of robbed....

Agreed, and also if Wilder was 'saved by the bell' what was Ortiz in Rd 5? He was totally saved by bell, b/c if he got up with 30-60 seconds left Wilder would have crushed him. All in all a very enjoyable scrap to watch, and despite their shortcomings, I like both guys' personalities.

Dude almost got KO'd by an 83 year old robotic tomato can and he's got the nerve to act like he just beat Foreman in Zaire. Not to mention, Windmill's best punch was McGregor's hammer fists...

Joshua would have KO'd Oritz within 4 rounds.

Joshua vs wilder is an even fight at the moment. People may say wilder beat an old man in Ortiz but Joshua Bryant an old an Klitschko. Let’s say Klitschko and Ortiz fought, I believe ortiz would win that fight 9 times out 10. In saying that, I believe wilder has a slight upper hand over AJ. But just like Ortiz said, one punch can change the fight or better yet, end it.
