That Wlad was showing major signs or slipping even before Fury schooled him. He couldn't pull the trigger anymore and Wilder would jump all on him and windmill him into oblivion. Wilder with his style was all wrong for Klit, even a prime version. A guy who jumps all on him and tries to take him out was his kryptonite. It sure worked for guys like Brewster and Sanders who didn't have the power or killer instinct of Wilder.

Many boxers have been down to inferior opponents before stopping them, it means zilch, just that fighter A didn't take fighter B seriously. AJ is not some great counter puncher, your argument is weak if that's your premise.

Ajs whole game is combinations and counter punching. Hes very quick on the trigger when he counters.

Ortiz brough that sweet Cuban boxing style to the table and Wilder, outgunned most of the fight, solved the problem and stopped the skilled King Kong. AJ is a basic boxer at best and will not present any of those problems to Wilder. True, he has his own qualities such as size and athleticism to match Wilder's but people need to stop saying he'll outbox Wilder. It won't happen.
