After seeing the fight last night I think it lays any doubts to rest that AJ wouldn’t stop Wilder.

Ortiz looked very skilled and powerful. I hope he gets one more shot, face the loser of aj and Parker next maybe.

Wilder looked out boxed but damn is he fast and strong. Ortiz may be a more skilled opponent than aj so, maybe Wilder can do it.

Think the score cards were bs, Ortiz won every round except 5 and 6 and 9. Didn't matter but come on.

Props to Ortiz, nothing to be ashamed of, he made Wilder look like amatuer at times and almost had him out of there. It's a true testament to Wilder's conditioning, focus, and drive to stay in there composed after getting ragdolled and come back to finish a beast in Ortiz after seeming outgunned the entire fight. Wilder is the best puncher in boxing bar none.

The same can be said about the Maidana vs Broner fight. They just throw awkward punches that aren't intended to land in the back of the head.

In the summer of 1996 I almost got some head from TI's wife Tiny...at this time I never heard of TI

Xscape was touring in my city and I almost had her short pregnant ass raising my IQ

True!! The BOOGYMAN wasn't labeled the boogyman for disco dance moves!....the guy can give any champion a run for his money.....Pacquiao wasnt gun shy & didn't lose any umph in his later fights after being disposed of like an old abandoned casino building.... Ortiz can bounce back man.....and get paid lovely while doing it! he's also a cool dude!

He might've been able to put him away the next round if he didn't gas out.

Good on Wilder for weathering the storm, good fight.

I knew Wilder would get outboxed and said the fight would boil down to how well Ortiz took Wilder's power. I now have my answer.

I think that’s WILDer strategy, thrown fast punches in back of the head so they don’t look intentionally. What boxer protects the back of his head. It’s unfair. 4 or more punches in back of the head and nothing is said. This not fair boxing.

Still can't believe Wilder withstood that barrage in the 7th, crazy night, great for boxing

Ortiz had 40 seconds to get Wilder out in that 7th round and could not. Wilder could have gotten him out in the 5th round if he had 40 seconds. Those are the facts. Wilder just got more heart and will than all these guys.
