Since when has Ortiz- who had never fought for a world title or beat anyone of note- been the second best heavyweight on the planet?

Seriously this win has got Wilder’s fans wanking themselves silly.

No wonder no one wanted to fight him. Very fast, crafty and heavy leather. He's still one of the top 3 in the heavyweight division.
I'd like to see Wilder take the winner of AJ/Parker and Ortiz take on the loser..... THIS YEAR!

Question for you...was that the loudest that you have ever heard an arena get? It sounded insane once Wilder finished him and also when Ortiz had him reeling around in the 7th. I would have loved to have been there. Peace.
It was very very loud. But the loudest? Hmmmm. I've been fortunate enough to cover hundreds of fights and the one that always sticks out in terms of volume is when Chavez Jr had Sergio Martinez hurt in the 12th.

To me Joshua, Ortiz, then wilder. So now wilder is number 2 behind Joshua. The big question now is will wilder fight the usual bum next or take on another top ranked contender. Hope it's a contender. I would be happy with Martin, Breazeale or Whyte.

I'm a Wilder fan, so did I. He started off really slow this fight. Ortiz in my opinion, owned the first 4 rounds.

              Agreed, but why the loser?

              Go for the winner!

If the referee did not make Wilder rest the next round.

This is why boxing fans need to stop crying ( worst combat sports fans ever in this era ,sorry but they are at least the 30 plus years ive been watching ) Both showed resolve to make the fight great which is why they NEED to fight again . Ortiz was a bit rusty not getting much out of Martz prior to this and Wilder will surely take SOMETHING ( ???? ) out of it too .

Ortiz , Wilder AND Joshua SHOULD do a full circle with each other .

Im not including Parker bc any of those 3 defeat him ,those who disagree fine but your wrong ! lol

Ortiz proved his worth and NEEDS to stay active this time around if we want to see him at full capabilities wheather hes 40 or 400 !

it was a southpaw vs ortho in the HW division u should expect that to be slow for a few rounds as they were trying to find range and be careful in the process. u so called boxing fans are something else!
