Yeah but Wilder is a lot younger, faster, athletic and perhaps even stronger than Ortiz at this current stage of their careers. Therefore, Wilder can afford to make a mistake but a man who is believed to be close to 45 years of age cannot.

Ortiz' body just won't allow him to recover fast enough. That is of course, if he is no longer on that ****. Therefore, he has to fight the perfect fight in order to give himself the best chance of winning because if he's clean he will find himself getting knocked out by the "Bronze Bomber".
