Could Eddie Hearn be referring to Matchroom Boxing USA signing a partnership agreement with HBO? There's been some rumours to that effect...

That said it wouldn't be a bad pickup, be a fun fight between him vs Whyte probably, but I don't think even Hearn would consider it major.
Think Hearn said there would be new guys on the Jacobs card, Szpilka's is on there on Boxrec without an opponent, could be Breazeale.

Just seen this on Twitter aswell

Oh sh^t. Yeleussinov would be a major pickup for f#cking sure for Hearn. I wasn't sure what was up with him cuz I know he signed some promotional deal over a year ago now, but never fought. Hopefully not fighting for a year or w/e after his deal voids his contract & there isn't any bs keeping him attached to that other promoter if he is getting picked up by Hearn. Assume Hearn would have dealt with it, but who knows.

Hmmm thats interesting about Szpilka. I had noticed he had a fight scheduled, but didn't even check it out to see it was on Hearn's show. I still wouldn't view Breazeale as a major signing if thats the fight they made. And sh^t Szpilka is a legit new guy to Hearn himself I suppose you could argue so I kinda feel like they'll put him in a w/e fight. Randomly I thought he was gonna fight that actor in MMA not box anytime soon so that is a lil odd.

Hearn would be smart to sign a lot of HW's to get into the hearts & minds of US fans I guess cuz US fans seem overly invested in HW's vs other divisions + other countries. As long as you are fun anyway. Wlad ruined HW boxing for US fans for a decade with his boring a$$.

Think I've found the interview. Nothing specific, just says he has lots of massive news.

Yeleussinov just fought twice in February. Yeleussinov was apparently able to get out of his past contract without any problems.

No professional fights yet. He fought in the Three Nations Tournament in mid February as an amateur. First fights since the Olympics. Looked really good. Not at 100% form as he admitted himself.
He just needs to stay active.

I'm gunna guess hes on the "Matchroom USA" side of things primarily. Debut on the Jacobs card.
