Always liked him... Pure Cuban school style... Doesn't do more then needed... Awesome counter puncher and has some pop too...

Low profile, and quiet mouth... He got excited over Jennifer though...

        "Matha Faka...You he bytch !"
I was even more sold right there...

Jennifer is going down late or UD for Ortiz... It has to because my money is there ...

Hes up their and this is a great fight, if wilder can pull it off its a great win for him. I see some people are trying to down play Ortiz but bullshit Ortiz is legit and is a live dog.

Ortiz is fat, old, and a cheat. Those are just objective facts. Which doesn't mean he isn't a top 5 heavyweight fighter at the current moment. But the only reason for that is because after Wilder and AJ the next best is C level. Literally, AJ and Wilder are at least two leagues above any and every other heavyweight today. So, he may be a top 5 heavyweight, but he still is not that good and has no chance. Same thing with Parker, he may be a top 5 heavyweight, but he is not that good and has no chance against AJ. Ortiz is a top opponent at heavyweight but he still sucks.

When Wilder wasn't fighting him, people said Ortiz was a top 5 heavyweight. Now that Wilder is fighting him, the same people say Ortiz is fat, old, drug-cheat bum. And the thing is, they are right both times. Its not one or the other, both things are true. Which one people state depends on which one best suits their rooting interest as fans.

He's a top 5 HW, but he'll be a bum this time tomorrow if he loses as far as 1/3+ of this site is concerned.

Was inevitable that there would be Wilder fans in here whining that Joshua fanboys stating that Ortiz is old, inactive etc. I'm guessing they're all forgetting that Wilder fanboys have spent the last year discrediting Joshua's win over Klitschko because he was old and inactive.

The reality is that Ortiz is old, has been inactive and there are question marks about his ability when not on PED's but he is also still a very legitimate threat and one of the top guys in the division... thus a win over him will be a statement for Wilder.

old and incredibly slow, legs have gone. in another era he'd have been cannon fodder. but as things stand hes still a top 5 heavyweight and if wilder does a job on him he deserves credit.

Top 3 HW. Moves down to Top 4 if Fury comes back and is in good condition.

But basically the closer it gets to the Wilder fight, the more Ortiz is a talentless bum in the eyes of the UK fans.
