    • Ayo peep Joshua's fanatics and their fake ass, scared ass criticism, lmao. Wilder is going to beat the **** out of Ortiz. They have even crawled under alts to attempt to lamely trash Wilder. 214 or 240 Ortiz won't win.

      • Will Ortiz's extra weight help him better absorb the punches? Hmmmm... Not sure. On the other hand, I would like to see Wilder tested with a few good shots from the cuban... see if he keeps his swagger then.

        • WOW! The GREAT Deontay Wilder is ONLY 214lbs in THIS era of heavyweight boxing??! It's absolutely AMAZING that he actually wants the YOUNG PRIME 250lb Muscle Hearn Puppet AJ - AFTER Ortiz!! What a CHAMP indeed!!!!!

          • Wilder needs to put some muscles on his chicken legs.

            • Wilder won't KO Ortiz, he is gonna box him moving a lot.

There was an interview where Wilder said that he walks around in the 230s but that when he starts training camp the weight just comes off on it's own. He said his body just works like that. He doesn't cut weight it just comes off from the time training camp begins to fight night.

In other words, Wilder is coming in at his natural weight, which is the best condition to be in. You don't want to force your body to go up or down, it performs better at it's natural state.

I think that's why Pac and Mayweather had so much success in their careers too. They fought at a weight that was right around their walk around weight.

You can see Mayweather weighed 148lbs against Maidana, 150lbs against Canelo, 150lbs against Ortiz, 149lbs against Baldomir, 146lbs against Judah, etc etc.

Pac also weight around 150lbs for most of his welterweight fights. The only time he weighed more than that that I can remember is when he fought Mayweather and came it at 152lbs.

So for me I think Wilder is gonna be on the best form that we ever saw him.

                • Maybe he's overexerted himself at the gym and will turn up fatigued with a weak-a$$ punch. Ortiz has a chance.

                  • Upset coming. Ortiz is ready. Ortiz wins via stoppage

                      Hahahaa. Couldn't agree more
