In other words, Wilder is coming in at his natural weight, which is the best condition to be in. You don't want to force your body to go up or down, it performs better at it's natural state.

I think that's why Pac and Mayweather had so much success in their careers too. They fought at a weight that was right around their walk around weight.

You can see Mayweather weighed 148lbs against Maidana, 150lbs against Canelo, 150lbs against Ortiz, 149lbs against Baldomir, 146lbs against Judah, etc etc.

Pac also weight around 150lbs for most of his welterweight fights. The only time he weighed more than that that I can remember is when he fought Mayweather and came it at 152lbs.

So for me I think Wilder is gonna be on the best form that we ever saw him.
You make a good point. Froch and Golovkin also fight close to their walking around weight and it certainly doesn't cost them strength or durability, and might be an energy advantage over the guys who drain. The only thing is, this is kind of light even by Wilders standards. I think he's expecting a longer fight, and I hope he hasn't come in so light because he's burning up too much nervous energy, because he seems that type. Clinching and wrestling with a big man like Ortiz will take some toll, he's got a look of durability about him too.

He probably focused more on his speed.

He can easily come into fight night at 220lb and Ortiz could come in at 250. It depends.

            depends on what?

heavyweights dont have to cut weight, so why should they be a couple pounds heavier tonight?

6'-7'' only 214 lbs and with string bean legs at that. Wilder is hiding a glass jaw, its worse than people think, we have seen him wobbled and we have heard the rumors of KOs in sparring but his pro competition level has been really dreadful, that chin is pure glass. Guys with bean pole legs have no punch resistance. Look at Khan and Chico.

Yeah you got a point there I gotta admit.

Maybe Wilder doesn't intend to clinch and wrestle though. I don't remember much clinching and wrestling in Stirvirne 1 fight (assuming he employs similar tactic of fighting at the end of his jab and moving around the ring from corner to corner).

I see. I honestly couldn't tell much a difference between his 220 and his 214. I guess at that height and stature that it wears the same. Looked ripped, though. Hopefully the power is still there (can't imagine it won't be) even with the "smaller size".

Ortiz, and Stiverne are huge haters that got after him in a scumbag way, Ortiz's hatred from his PR firm, and Stiverne with his known hatred (I won't go into why). Wilder can feel the hate so he gets more amped up. Washington, Duhaupas, Arreola didn't come at him with hate so no need to **** talk them.
