Will Wilder Win You Over if He Wins BIG Saturday Night?

I've never been a big fan, but I don't know. The guy has beaten everyone they threw at him. He does always get the KO which is good for a heavyweight champion to do. In a recent interview he even admitted he has plenty of flaws and he even worked on his speech, changing "You is" to "You are."

As far as watching a guy fight long term, I think he's come a good ways and he's starting to win me over. I know he has the deer in headlights legs and I've never liked his technique, but he has incredible power and he makes that work for him, which is what every fighter does in making their strength overcome their weaknesses.

If he wins Saturday night, I'm a fan. How about you?

No, Ortiz has looked flat, old and slow lately and it's possible he was only good because of PEDs. If Wilder had beaten the Ortiz from 2014/2015 I'd have been impressed. He should win this one inside four. If he struggles a little bit he'll go down a bit in my estimation.

I can't vote in this poll as I am already a Wilder fan. I hope it will change a few minds if Wilder makes light work of Ortiz.

If he doesn't dominate every round or get him out there early I'll have even more questions about the dude. I think he's a C level dude. He should get a washed up old and inactive fighter like Ortiz out of there easily if he's even remotely good.

With respect your opinion is definitely the minority opinion at least from what I been hearing. Most that I have spoken with, including myself consider Luis a live dog at least.

It depends how he wins . Im also figuring a big possibility of a contraversial UD win in the cards .

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Wilder does lose and then wins a rematch .

Wilder is still top 3 HW either way .

Joshua / Wilder / Ortiz ARE the guys to defeat and will be for a minute !

Everyone should want to see these guys fight eachother instead of label them bums as soon as they lose !

It's jabronis like this that make me laugh. Most fighters are on PEDs. Conte of all guys knows how to beat the system. Ortiz looks like a machine and would give Joshua all he could handle and crush Parker. You're a Wilder hater, enjoy his reign.

"a c level dude"... I see this forum is still full of ignorant people that can't comprehend boxing when they watch it. Log off and watch some tape. Educate yourself.

Yeah, I agree that they are the top 3 right now. 2 of them fighting each other is a great thing for boxing.

Now if the welterweights will follow suit.

I also have to give a lot of credit to the cruisers. The WBSS has pitted the best against the best and everyone has stepped up.
