of those three guys joshua has fought the best puncher, wladimir klitschko. he got put down but he got back up. no shame in getting dropped by one of the best punchers of all time. wladimir was old, no doubt, but he could still ****.

What you're claiming about Wladimir Klitschko launching an assult doesn't apply to him because that's not even his style. That's not how he fights and most likely, he can't even fight like that in the first place. Even if he tried to, he would most likely get tired after 3 rounds if he went full out assault and he would also likely leave himself open to getting countered. And considering Wlad doesn't have the best chin himself. He could very well get knocked out or stopped.
Bryant Jennings was literally running for 12 rounds on the back foot. That's not the same as what Povetkin did against Wladimir Klitschko. Povetkin came forward whilst taking punches. Only a few boxers can use that tactic and not get knocked out by Wlad.
Look at what happened to Alex Leapai when he tried to use that tactic. He also got knocked the fu7k out. The other boxers who survived 12 rounds against Wladimir Klitschko came to survive and fought on the back foot. Povetkin came forward and fought on the front foot.
Samuel Peter wasn't the same after he was knocked out by Wlad. His chin became worse. But before he fought Wlad, his chin was very good.
David Haye
Bryant Jennings
Sultan Ibragimov
Chris Byrd
These are the 4 boxers who managed to last 12 rounds against Wladimir Klitschko during his championship reign and they all fought on the back foot with the primary intention of surviving.
Only Alexander Povetkin and Mariusz Wach fought Wlad on the front foot and managed to last the distance.
Samuel Peter fought on the front foot in the first fight and survived but was knocked out in the rematch.
Wladimir Klitschko was clinching Kubrat Pulev nearly as much as he clinched Povetkin. But he was still able to KO Pulev and failed to KO Povetkin. Both Povetkin and AJ saw Wlad's punches coming better than Pulev did and Povetkin, nor AJ got hit with the type of punch that Pulev was hit by.
I dont know what the other stuff you posted like Povetkin walking into jabs would prove .
Pulevs chin vs Povetkin wouldn't change the fact Joshua has a better chin and Klitchko, had a A plus left hook if it landed flush ..
Im not sure what your steering towards now ?
Other than throwing other fighters in the mix . Klitchko, was instructed to box Jennings ,he HAD points taking away bc of excessive clinching to an incoming Jennings ????
Ali Bashir WANTED Klitchko,to go for an early K.O but was not his head trainer and states it was bad tactic employed by Banks .
Klitchko K.O 'd Byrd in a rematch .
Ibragomov wasnt exactly fighting on the back foot more than he was getting WALKED down. He was engaging Klitchko alot as he was being pressed even landing effectively to Klitchko,s body but was too small to do much but make Wlad cautious bc of the southpaw style .
Klitchko by rnd 10 was using clinching , Steward said too go knock him out in rnd 12 , i can assure you Ibragomov TRIED standing his ground (watch the last rnd ) but Klitchko, was too strong .
Lewis said it best at that fight ......
You need someone whos ABLE to bring the best out of Klitchko, that someone was Joshua !Last edited by juggernaut666; 02-27-2018, 05:31 PM.
