No, the fact is neither one of them stopped you. You stopped yourself by stop competing. The ref stopped the fight to save yourself from getting hurt because you hit a wall, wanted no more and was looking for a way out. However, thanks to Tony Weeks you found that out. I didn't say that Kovalev was going to win the 2nd fight. I think he was hurt and looking for a way out of the fight. I said the last punch Ward threw and landed that hunched Kovalev over was a low blow.

Ward hit Kovalev with a giant right. The punches, some were borderline looked worse because Kovalev put his hands down and scrunched over, this was before the punches landed actually.

So yes when the ref called the fight Kovalev stayed down and when Ward caught him he did not pop up. Some of the punches were borderline, it happens. A fighter whogets hit in the groin and wants to continue gets up and asks to take a neutral...

It was Hard to see but when i watched it live i thought Weeks was going to deduct a point from Andre. Fight shouldn't have been stopped, but i dont think Kovalev would have won it after that round tho.

please, kovalev was so bend, that he was kissing the floor. He quit in that fight. Get over it. He was bullied into submission. And loss the fight plain and simple. The first one was close. Can't cry about that one. But I could see kovalev winning that fight.
