No, because he managed to still keep his vital bodily components intact. Which was the only thing he was fighting for in the end because he is a man and a real man has to look after his vital bodily components. Especially ones that is used to bring a human to life.
If Ward wants to suck Kovalev's **** so badly, he can ask nicely. He doesn't have to keep touching it with his gloves.
Losing a boxing match in USA means nothing. It's not a true loss in a boxing sense because that wasn't a boxing match. Especially when Ward started playing with Kovalev's ****. Game's not over until Ward beats Kovalev in a neutral territory. Oh, didn't think so because your man isn't too willing to leave his bubble.
I think Ward didn't ruin anybody's life, actually. Neither Kov's (who's still Champion, btw) nor mine, at least. Instead, soon after that fight, he retired... For sure, he was the one with his life changed, not ruined, but surely changed. Isn't that maybe he realized he had accomplished his once-in-a-lifetime chance? We'll let the historians judge, know what i mean?
3. Ward fouled and clearly hit Kovalev mutltiple times in the balls and Weeks ignored it.
It is what it is and that’s what happened. Kovalev should be now be over it and accept the outcome.
^^^ This. That's all there is to it. People just love to get tripped up on how Kovalev talks about it. Seriously, what is he supposed to say? Kovalev said he effed up the second fight mentally. And conversely, what is Ward supposed to say? It would be cool if he said he got a gift, but no one in the history of boxing would admit that. It is what it is.
Ward hit Krusher with the best cross right of his entire career in rd 8 of rematch and still could not knock him down... In rd 2 of first fight, Kovalev took SOJ down with a half-powered short right...
To make it simple: of course Kovalev was hurt by that right, but was still on his feet, before Ward attempted vasectomy to him... Referee should have left Ward finish him (if he could...) by boxing, not balls-shooting. Never ending story...
Fact still is the fight was stopped on a lowblow...there is enough footage of it out there. Push your agenda all you want it wont affect my opinion on the fight
The fight was stopped because kovalev quit. His only defense was bend over and kiss the mat. That is why the ref waved off. The right hand did the damage, prior to that low blow.
[Once Kov had Ward down early in the first fight with size, power and Ward's inactivity in his favor, It was all over but the Krushing! Not. What we got was Ward fighting back like a badger and a 'split' decision with the Kov fans on one side and the Ward fans along with all the judges on the other. Cry me a river Kov fans either you live with the judges or be the Krusher!
The rematch would not be left up to the judges. Nothing is as unanimous as a knockout. The Krusher had made it clear. Ward, now more active, more acclimated to the weight was once the badger is now the wolverine! In like fashion goes about gutting it's prey. The Krusher cries 'foul' my balls are in the way! Kov set out to ko Ward and eliminate the judges, instead he gets knocked out and the referee and the commisson become the judges. Were the blows low? Once again they all agree:"only if your balls are in your belly.".
