It wont be the huge upset or tge roll-over it will be a competitive hard fought 12 rounder with i say Crawford getting the nod.
Horn aint no walk over.
Its not. Have you seen Horn's resume? Outside his gift over 38 year old Pacquaio, his best win is what? 80 year old randal bailey with 8 losses?
38 year old pacquiao is not a full sized welterweight, he is like 150 tops on fight night. You think its a guarantee that Horn beats Indongo or Postol? Based on what?
You think he can take crawford's power? He was out on his feet vs 38 year old pacquaio who has greatly diminished timing.
So who beat Horn on Crawfords resume? Horn would whip the floor with Idongo and Postol.
Regarding Crawford being the favourite, I agree with you, there is no debate here, I agree that Horn is overrated and leaving off a win where he got a gift against a (let's be real) has been Manny P.
Crawford is just going to box him to a 12 round decision. This would be crawford first fight at 147 and he isn't going to take too many chances with a bigger guy. So expect to see a lot of jabs, a lot of movements and tying up once they get close to each other.
The absolute only question about Crawford is can he bring power enough to 147? He is a volume punching KO guy, he has never really been super powerful. At 147, he will be facing guys who are bring natural power with them. He may truly need a year to build up that kind of power to be competitive.
This match with Horn is the best of all worlds for Craw Daddy. He gets an interesting match with a fighter who has made headlines, he gets to have his first fight at 147 with a fighter who is limited before he hits the big guns, and he gets a title shot in his first match to make him more appealing to those top guns.
Could be John Molina all over again. Except Horn is 2 inch taller compared to Molina, probably stronger. Crawford does dislike being walked down. He'll clinch rather than do inside fighting when the opponent is getting close. He doesn't chase opponents either. He wants it in the middle of the ring.
Crawford has never faced a bully in the ring. I can't wait to see how he deals with it.
I agree! Can't have excuses even if he's a part time fighter.....I can't wait either to see how Crawford/Horn ends up......this fight is one of the main reasons "boxing" gets me excited......2 beers beforehand should be sufficient!!
"The man that is widely regarded as the greatest boxing trainer in the history of Australia"
lmao like that is hard to be
yea he only trained 3 world champions jeff fenech and kostya tszyu who are both inducted in to the international boxing hall of fame and jeff harding who was wbc light heavy weight champion in three brutal fights with deniss andries but hey i suppose that's 2 to many for your one brain cell to comprehend
