Wilder vs. Ortiz has a legitimate chance to break the all time boxing attendance record at Barclays. There are only a handful of fighters who can sell more tickets in the US than Wilder. There are thousands and thousands of fighters. If out of thousands and thousands of fighters, Wilder is a bigger draw than almost all of them, it seems silly to take the position that he "isn't a draw."

    Wilder-Ortiz tickets didn't start at $74 either.
Yes they did. Press releases list the base price, not the actual price you pay. The fight was priced at $57-$757, which is the $50 you quoted plus a $7 facility fee. But there are also ticketing fees, which bring the price to $74 (although for a limited time you can get tickets without fees right now).

On top of that, they just raised prices today, so that $57 ticket is now $67. And when the fees kick back in, it'll be $84 to sit in the nose bleeds.

Shame it’s not a sell out because it’s a genuine good fight on paper
If they cant sell out in a venue that Wilder has been too in a title fight in N.Y in a 19,000 seated area ,it says alot . I actually want to see Joshua fight there now to compare how fast tickets go. Im not a live event person but i would sure go to it .

I wont go to this one bc Ortiz is a Haymon fighter and i wont believe its a real fight until i see it . Idont trust all these Wilder Haymon fighters fighting in their own circle. Wilder wont see a bigger fight than this one outside Joshua .

I don't know how you bet points or whatever on here, but if you are serious, I will bet anything you want. Say what you want about Wilder, but to act like a fat 40 year old, with exactly zero decent wins without peds, has any chance of beating Wilder is ridiculous. We get you hate Wilder.

Now back it up and prove you mean it, or go slither away until the next Wilder article appears and you pop back out to troll again.

Hahaha @ Farhood. Deontay was never going to fight Povetkin in Russia. I always liked Farhood, but Showtime has him peddling this bulli****.

Nobody cares about seats and ppvs except Joshua fan boys who will keep claiming and using the draw excuse to avoid Wilder. Only thing is boxing always comes full circle. The ***** will be forced to fight Wilder one day!

Even if you don't consider the top draws in boxing. How is Wilder a draw? Dude cant sell out his own hometown, which should slam dunk considering hes the supposed heavyweight champ. Yes, He has people talking about him on internet boards and debating his worth, but outside that he is not talked about or he doesn't draw people to his fights. That's fact, so out the top draws how can you consider him a draw?
